Bistro Seven Three Ratings and Reviews
Wonderful service and wonderful food in a lovely setting...our server Vinny
explained the menu and specials and gave us plenty of time to catch up with other party members...the ragu and pasta was to die for..and we were allowed to select a half portion...the eggplant as well as the crab and guacamole appetizers were excellent...a huge plus is the restaurant is BYOB ...This is a dining pleasure that should be visited against and again
Everyone is warmly welcomed and made comfortable at this Bernardsville favorite whether newbie or regular. The scallop entree was outstanding with the lightly spicy sauce just right and not overwhelming the scallops. The Zuppa de Pesche is a personal favorite as are the mussels. The salads were fresh and well thought out. The barley vegetable soup was perfect. With the BYO provision we are able to have the wines we like. Va Bene.
Bistro Seventy-three is a neighborhood gem. The service is professional and efficient. The cuisine is superb with one or two great specials offered. This is a BYOB with attentive wait staff. The Branzino and Ribeye steak entrees were excellent. The chopped house salad was good albeit a little steep in price at $11. We celebrated Valentine's Day very nicely here. We would dine here more often if we could afford the tariff. All in all an excellent experience!
Friendly and courteous staff, attentive and efficient service throughout. Very flexible with menu to split and share 3 course or family style. Braised short rib dinner outstanding with a salad starter and split pasta primi. Quality of food always exceptional. Penne bolognese the best.
Barely 4 stars. Good but not great food. Doesn’t have a “wow“ factor. Crowded, so it can get pretty loud when full. Pricey, expect to pay $40-$50 per person with tax/tip but without dessert. BYOB. Parking on the street or in a small adjacent lot not an issue.
I had the swordfish special which was phenomenal! Guests had the coq au vain, bistro ragu and Bolognese all out of this world! Everyone enjoyed the relaxed atmosphere the day after Christmas :) the limoncello and cookies at the end of the meal are the perfect touch.
After a bit of a wait (wasn't the restauarant fault as much as a large inconsiderate group that took 20 min after paying the bill to leave) we had a lovely table .. Food was good but not awesome.. Salad was below par few pieces of overcooked beets? Branzino was veey good.. Altogether veey good but not 5 star.. Bit loud also
Excellent meal! Our first time back in a few years as we happened to be in the area and we were not disappointed. It’s only gotten better. The decor and ambiance was warm, modern and inviting. However, the food stole the show. We started with the burrata dish and the sushi pizza - phenomenal. The cheese was fresh and the sushi pizza had just the right amount of spice, so good. For my meal I had the veal which was cooked perfectly. Topped it all off with a delicious tres leches. No complaints, absolutely outstanding experience and meal. Can’t wait to be back.
Business meeting with 8 people and wonderful experience. Please note--this is BYO wine. Appetizers were awesome... eggplant rolls rich and tasty, calamari was light and not chewy, bruschetta (tomatoes, beans, garlic) was delicious. Wait staff attentive and insightful. Entrees were well received... short ribs a big hit, and lamb shank. Shrimp had good flavor but over cooked. Creme brûlée was fluffy but flavorful. Lemoncelle and choc chip cookies to round out feast. Prices reasonable...wish I lived nearby
Great food, exceptional and friendly service.
I had a soup that want quite my taste and the easier brought another one out that was delicious, no questions asked.
We felt like we were treated like family there and you could see there are a lot of regulars for to the great foods at good prices.
