I have been going to Bistro Romano for 4 years now around Valentine's Day with my spouse and it has never ever been a disappointment. The food is always delicious, the wine menu is wonderful and the staff are very nice and respectful. This year, when I made my reservation, an unfortunate event had to been bumped up on my schedule and I was forced to reschedule the reservation. The hostess, Jackie, was VERY understanding and was more than happy to help me find a better date to work with my schedule. The wait for the appetizers (crab dip and salad) was quick, about 10 minutes and the main entree (2 whole lobsters w/ pasta), took about 20-25 minutes to come out. I think that is more than a reasonable time to wait for an entree like that. The wine menu is long with many options to choose from, the waiter is more than happy to find what would fit your taste, and the dessert menu is all homemade.

It's safe to say that this is our favorite place to go to for a romantic dinner and the prices are as well pretty reasonable. Thank you again Bistro Romano for always making our Valentine's Day dinner perfect!

we have dined here twice so far, and both times it has been a very pleasant experience. Great service, and the food was on point. not to mention the wine list is paired well with their selection.

Truly a hidden gem. We love this restaurant for authentic italian food and an extensive wine list. Must try the caesar salad prepared tableside. Delicious!

Bistro Romano was easily one of the best dining experiences of my life. I have too much to even say about the place, the food and ambience were top notch but can't compete with the service, both waiter and manager were friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure we had an amazing night. Ordered wine, cocktails, appetizers, entrees, and something from the specials. All of them A+. Live piano upstairs, very cozy environment. Highly recommended.

Been visiting for years, never had a bad meal. Love the ambience, very intimate. Our waiter, Paul, was very attentive and had a great personality. Looking forward to more date nights at Bistro Romano. 🌟

Our waitress Vienna (sorry if I spelled that wrong!) was absolutely fantastic. She was attentive and made the amazing dinner even better! For being Valentine’s Day I would have totally understood if things were a tad slower paced but she did an amazing job staying on top of every course and need we had. A must go! We will absolutely be back for another great meal :)

Our first time there. It got great reviews online. The waitstaff were very pleasant. Our Caesar salad came right out.. The entrees took forever. By the time I got my chicken, it was completely dried out. I was offered something else, but we had waited long enough. They seemed very busy that night, but we live in the burbs, and this restaurant is not worth the trip into town to try again.

The caesar salad is the best i have ever had!! table side and all. The veal saltimbocca was terrific. The cavatelli was just ok, should have gotten the gnocchi. The vibe is very cool. The service is fantastic and price is not bad.

My friend and I celebrate our birthdays by having dinner at Bistro Romano each year. The martinis (gin for her, vodka for me) are a special treat and the food is always superb. We also always have the table-side Caesar salad. It's always delicious, but this time it was exceptional! Our waiter, Frank, did a great job with the salad, and was great overall - attentive without being overbearing. Another great celebration at Bistro Romano!

We had a wonderful meal! The food was delicious and the service was spot on from the moment we walked in the door to the minute we left. Love the setting - wood beams and exposed stone. Piano player in bar area was great and my drink was fantastic. I had mentioned it was our anniversary on Opentable so they had rose petals all over the table for us. Great attention to detail!

Great atmosphere and great food! Unfortunately, we had an arrogant waiter. We bought an overpriced bottle of red wine and he noted it was a “twist off”. Very disappointed in the service but the atmosphere luckily outweighed the negative experience.

The energy level/personality of the waitstaff was almost nonexistent. I understand this is a quiet, romantic restaurant, but a smile and a little enthusiasm would have been great.

Lovely atmosphere
Outstanding food

Went to Bristro Romano for a date night and it exceeded my expectations. The staff was amazing super friendly and accommodating. The food was delicious. We had the duck breast (amazing) and one of the specials of the night (spring chicken) along with their fantastic table side Caesar salad. The atmosphere was very romantic and cozy. I would definitely recommend this for a special occasion or a regular date night.

The experience was just wonderful overall. The Caesar salad was a standout, really lived up to the hype. Seafood tasted fresh, our table had the scallops and a seafood medley consisting of shrimp, mussels, clams, and calamari. Dessert was a little disappointing, did not particularly like the use of a chocolate sauce with the tiramisu. Would definitely come again.

Great restaurant, fantastic food, and a warm, inviting atmosphere perfect for date night. The only down sude is that if you were sitting at one of the tables near The Wine Cellar, you are packed and extremely tight so much so that the other tables around you might as well be in your own party. I got bumped by the salad cart more times then a rookie flight attendant serving booze from an aircraft beverage cart! That was extremely annoying, but the only negative I can think of. All in all, it is a great restaurant and should not be missed. Just make sure you ask for a booth.
