We frequent this restaurant whenever we are in the area of Radio City Music Hall. The food is wonderful and the wait staff very friendly and courteous.
Had a couple business lunches there while I was in town. It was perfect. Very good food in an environment where you can talk.
Amazing staff. A bit loud for a family dinner, but we felt welcomed by all the staff. Food was great.
Been to Bistro Milano many times and have never been disappointed. We always ask for Ben to be our waiter. He is always smiling and extremely helpful.
See you the next time we are in the city.
Our waiter Ben was awesome. Looking forward to our next visit.
Staff was excellent. Very attentive. Food was delicious! My teenage kids were with us and they loved the restaurant too. Highly recommend
We had a wonderful time at Bistro Milano. The waiter was fabulous, the food fresh and delicious, and the atmosphere welcoming. I cannot wait to go back!
The moment we walked in Ben-Hur greeted us with warmth and made us feel welcome. This was just the beginning of a delightful dining experience. Throughout the evening we observed him interacting we each patron in the same manner. This is a man who loves his job and made our dining experience a special one. Now on to the food which began with a basket of sliced breads with your traditional olive oil and an exceptional balsamic for dipping. Bottles left on table to allow for as much indulgence as desired. For appetizers we started with the Burrata with proscuitto, both superb. The burrata was creamy and tender. Next up a tuna tartare, served over diced avocado was excellent. For an entree we chose to split the braised rabbit ragu, with perfectly cooked papardelle pasta. We gave ourselves time to savor each course and ended the evening with a divinely creamy creme brule. Each course was brought separately with clean plates and silverware. We never felt rushed nor neglected. This is a dining experience you don't want to miss. And did I mention how wonderful Ben-Hur was!
The restaurant is well located in mid town Manhattan, but differs from most of its competitors in at least two regards--its tables are separated by a comfortable distance and the noise level is moderate, allowing for relaxed conversation.
The food was excellent, the portions were generous, and politely served. Most important the sound level was low so we could talk without shouting and the light level did not require light assistance.
I love Bistro Milano. The food is top notch and the service unparalleled. Ranieri provides an amazing table service, with energy, friendliness, and the best recommendations. I have been going to this restaurant for years and consider it one of my NY favorites.
Excellent as usual!
Everything is always delicious. It is a little treasure.
Bistro Milano was always a favorite stop when my family ventured into the City. Ben Hur was our waiter of choice (was not working this visit) and his "love-of-life" approach to his job & customers was the best part of every meal.....Unfortunately, our recent visit was judged on the food. It was such a disappointment, we will never go back again.
Cons: Smaller portions; heavily salted; beef filet overcooked & chewy; salads were bland; overpriced for the portions given. Parking was a scare & cost a fortune $45 w/ tax for 1hr!
I was visiting the city and wanted to have Italian food. It was in fairly close proximity and from the website it looked very nice and it was when we got there. Very friendly staff and very attentive. I would highly recommend the Bistro Milano.
Gloria and her team are the best!
We had a wonderful dinner with incredible service!! Loved the Carbonara!!!
Wonderful friendly staff. And delicious food. One of the best Italian restaurants in the City.
I just love this restaurant for its authentic Italian atmosphere and great Italian food. I visit NY a couple of times of year from London, and I always make sure I visit at least once. It reminds me of my favourite family run Italian restaurant at home. The waiters are so friendly and helpful with suggestions. If I dine on my own, again I feel completely at ease, unlike some other NY restaurants that just want to throw the food at you and get you out.
Excellent service and very good food make for a pleasant evening.
Always enjoy our time at Bistro Milano! Susanna always gives us terrific service!
bread is on the weak side. Was not warm and very ordinary. Otherwise the restauant is excellent.
The food at Bistro Milano is consistently good and the service is downright wonderful.
The waiters are "old school", friendly, charming and lively. Our favorite waiter is
named Ben-Hur , and he alone is worth a trip to Bistro Milano.
Great Italian Restaurant. Very good service
Consistently good food with attentive service. Not as crowded as many NY restaurants, but still busy and moderate noise level
Shockingly poor service and quality of food, particularly in light of the location in the heart of midtown.
The food and service was great. I’d go back there. We were celebrating a friend’s birthday in New York City and our hotel concierge recommended this place.
My husband and I went to Cafe Milano with my sister and brother-in-law. We all enjoyed our meal (from Rabbit Ragu to Gnocchi made with pesto). The waiter was very attentive but not obtrusive. Very pleasant experience.
The service was impeccable! My friend had the lasagna, which was delicious. I had the chicken parm, which was, unfortunately, dry. It came with a nice salad on the side.
I was very disappointed with the food. The food was not good. I’ve been to many Italian restaurants and we ordered pasta and calamari and shrimps, and no flavor. The Calamari and strimps ware just fried too fried, no flavor no fish presence. We then ordered an apple tart for dessert and that was a big disappointment because you could tell that lt was something frozen and just warmed up in a microwave. The waiter was excellent and friendly and the place is beautiful but they charge high like a 5 star place and the food is not worth it.
Bistro Milano is consistently good. The food is very good and the staff is friendly and attentive.
Food was average. Wine was warm. Best part was Salted Caramel Gelato. A bit disappointed with the main meal.
We went there for dinner. The restaurant is not big. It feels more like a business lunch place. Great services though.
Very pleasant place to have a New Year eve dinner. Thanks to the chef and the staff. You did a great job and food and presentation were perfect.
Stopped in for lunch during week before New Years. Just off 6th Ave but not crowded. Attentive staff and nice entrees. Interesting wine list.
Had a delightful experience with the hostess, bartender, and waiter. They all made us feel terrific and important! Food was perfect!
We were in NYC for a conference, and happened to get last minute reservations. Ben was our waiter and was fabulous! The food was excellent, and would go back in a heartbeat!
A concierge at the Hilton recommended this restaurant. We were going to the 2 PM Christmas Spectacular and had some family, including a 4 year old granddaughter. It was perfect since it was a few blocks from the bustle of Radio City and the "tree", but great food and service. Will go back again.
Great location, good ambience. Food and service was good but not great. We had reservations and had to wait 20 minutes for our table. Give it a try but lower your expectations a bit.
Been several times always consistently good
