Adorable little bistro! Dessert is amazing: cremeux topped with whipped cream and fresh raspberries. Service is excellent!

Food was good but does not meet definition of classic French in my opinion. Some Asian influence - i would call it French fusion cousine. We took snail escargot, lamb and trout. Trout was the best in my opinion. Lamb is more like Moroccan style, risottos has too much saffron. Presentation definitely can be better. No tea, no coffee was part of the menu- we had to ask for it. Dessert menu was very small and not very classic, more like asian- french mix, no cheese (???). Had to pay cash as cc machine was broken ( maybe by chance), but that is not the area where you would quickly run to the ATM.

Pleasing new restaurant, the food was excellent and the service congenial. Low-moderate noise level until a large party arrived (>10) who were quite loud. Great price to quality ratio. Be aware there are no parking lots in the immediate vicinity so you will be relying on finding an open spot along the streets if you're driving. Would gladly visit again!

The dining room is cozy and comfortable, but the star is the food. We ordered the Parisian gnocchi and the cote de beouf, and everything was absolutely fantastic. I could not recommend Bistro la Bete more highly.
