Bistro Ratings and Reviews
Ambience is good. Service staff were excellent- attentive, personable and readily personalized service. The menu offerings are varied with interesting pairings with each item. The food was delicious. The beet salad with arugula and vanilla dressing was fabulous and I will be ordering it again and again. The roasted chicken entree with potatoes and apricots was superb. Highly recommend this restaurant!!
First time to the restaurant as it's a distance from where we live (1 hr.). Went specifically for the Dover sole and wasn't disappointed ($45 pp). We also shared the duck wonton which came with a small salad (a bit too much dressing for my taste altho' it was very tasty). The potato that came with the sole was excellent. Hubby had a souffle for dessert which he enjoyed; I had a mini shot-glass mousse/brownie which was yummy. Hubby enjoyed his martini while we nibbled on delicious roll with some of the liver pate/mousse. Good pour for our wines, including a Sancerre. Nicely decorated restaurant -- it was very quiet that evening with just a handful of tables occupied, which was surprising for a Friday night. Lovely large bar (outdoor bar as well).
The decor and the table settings were very nice and the service was outstanding. The food was excellent, if a little over priced, but I knew that going in as I had been there once before. It is a good spot for special occasions where you don't mind stretching your budget for the evening.
The Bistro is so charming yet vibrant & full of life! The cuisine and wine selections are exquisite; and the professionalism, courtesy & friendliness of the staff is extremely welcoming; and immediately puts you at ease. This cozy restaurant IS a neighborhood gem! I shall certainly be hosting my friends & famy there again! THANK YOU Bistro owners and staff!
A wonderful restaurant with great food. It is a bit expensive, but everything was well prepared and very fresh.
I think if you sat at the bar and ordered drinks and apps it would be more affordable. There seemed to be a local group having fun at the outside bar.
We always have an enjoyable evening here.
Great food and service. Michelle was a terrific waitress. Great sense of humor and very good service. Parchment grouper and calves liver were ordered by the table and were presented and prepared perfectly. Tuna sashimi and beet salads were perfect high quality and delicious
Always happy with the food and service. Good spot for locals and snowbirds. Nice to window shop afterwards. Easy free parking. (I hate valet.) Place been here a long time so must be good. Get the early bird 3 course dinner. And don't miss this place for St Patrick's Day! Dine in or out. Small bar outside and nice size bar inside. Irish flare.
Service impeccable. Food not quite up to standards of past visits. Special of the day was a wild caught salmon but looked very different than salmon I've had previously. Tasted and looked more like cod or swordfish. Not particularly "special" for a daily special. Mom's birthday celebration and she said beef Wellington she had was terrific. Overall pleasant but again not up to par.
