If you can’t eat in France, this is the next best place. Lunch or dinner, the food is always good. Service can be a little sketchy but you will probably overlook as the food is so good.

Wonderfully authentic French cuisine. Delicious. Great service. We especially enjoyed the lemon tart! Topped with the best meringue I've ever had!

every one said get the tomato soup! It was amazing. Everyone said get two appetizers and 1 entre. We did not listen. We got two apps, soup and deviled eggs with truffle oil. They were perfect. Then we ordered the cassoulet and the rack of lamb. Too full for the banana cream pie with rum raisin ice cream. Damn. Maybe next time! We rolled right out of the restaurant! One list was very reasonable too!

A meal here is always a treat. Food and preparation is superb. We look forward to coming to Bistro Jeanty. Enjoyed a meal inside near the fireplace which was perfect as it was quite cool. Service is professional.

The food was amazing as always and our Server Brian was fantastic. Knowledgeable and responsive, interactive but let us have our space too. We had the torchon, pigs feet, rabbit pate, tomato soup, lionaise salad and lambs tongue salad, and finished with banana cream pie with rum raisin ice cream. All of our favorite things. As always, well done Jeanty! 👏👏👏👏

It was interesting. Definitely very reach and heavy food. It is not very typical, at least for me. Service was good.

Our waiter Shaun was very attentive and knowledgable. He made great recommendations. The entire staff was friendly and service oriented. The food was suburb! Tomato soup outstanding, bet salad lucious, Sole with mashed potato wonderfully light and flavorful, and pear creme brouilette yummy. It was an amazing dinner experience thatnk you!

The food and drinks were exceptional. We had the best sit in the house (right next to the fireplace) and each person we interacted with was friendly and inviting. Because everything sounded so good I went out of my comfort zone and ordered something I wouldn't normally try and I am so glad I did. I had the Rabbit and it was prepared two ways - with a great presentation. The Wine list is not overly priced and had great local options. I can't wait to go back. - If you like Bone Marrow they had the best - ask for the Jus on the side - it took away from the flavoring of the bone marrow.

A very French ambiance. Wait staff is always attentive but not intrusive. Relaxed vibe. As with the majority of Napa restaurants it is not inexpensive but the food is very good. I always feel at ease at the Bistro.

Never disappoints. The Starter, Appetizer and Entrée Selection are varied and abundant.

Had the Fried Pigs feet for an appetizer. Not what you think and well executed, like a mini pulled pork appetizer, no hoofs! Serve with a mustard sauce. Good start. Had the green bean salad with warm goat cheese. Generous amount of cheese with a good glass of wine, the best. Wife had the beet salad also a good proportion. Had the Pulled pork entrée with reduction sauce. Cooked and presented nicely, although a bit salty. Must have been from the brining operation. Wife had the scallop special that was cooked to perfection; scallops are fussy to get right. Excellent. All in all, a fantastic meal. Sean, the waiter was the best. His timing on everything was impeccable.

Bistro Jeanty is always a treat. I wish I had tried some of the specials - and not ordered the chicken (which was just ok). The appetizers and ambience were wonderful.

Bistro Jeanty has been one of my favorite restaurants for over 10 years and every time I go there I enjoy it fully. My recent visit with a friend included our favorite appetizer of fried smelt with spicy aoli and a new appetizer pigs feet with a lovely dipping sauce. The bib lettuce salad with perfectly flavored mustard vinagrette was as tasty as always. My main course of diver scallops done perfectly with bacon mashed potatoes was tender, succulent and full of flavor. My friends filet mignon was a bit too "medium" and not enough "rare" for her. My classic dessert of Crepes Suzette reminded me of many French Bistro lunches or dinners in France. Service is knowledgeable, prompt and informative but not intrusive. If you like a French Bistro experience in the Napa Valley area, you cannot do better than Bistro Jeanty!

Once again we had a superb meal Bistro Jeanty. We were seated in the back room. Very cozy and great atmosphere. We started with 1/2 bottle of champaign, rabbit casserole and duck pate. Both were excellent. I had the muscles dish...wow. What an experience. The. muscles were plump, juicy and delicious. This dish alone is worth the trip. Highly recommend, it beats flying to France or Belgium..

Another great dinner at Bistro Jeanty! I had beef bourgnione and my husband had the beef stew. The beef was so tender, lots of it and very flavorful sauces! Friends had tomatoe soup and we had onion soup! Both were outstanding. We were too full for dessert! Great service too! We will be back soon!

A family dinner, on New Years Eve so I expected that the heavy bookings would lead to a lowering of standards. If they were lowered then I can only say they must be excellent otherwise. Menu and daily specials all worth consideration, and the 5 around the table chose differently, not one was disappointed, in fact they all said their choices were really good, and sharing was thus limited sadly. Service present when needed, noise level not intrusive to table conversation. Possibly a little "old french" in style, which I like, but definitely worth a visit.

Disappointing service. We listened in to the table next to us who’s server explained the menu, greeted them warmly and took time with each of his tables. Our server looked bored, never smiled, and went through the motions. Our food was great! We were asked if we celebrating anything special. I responded, yes, my birthday. The hostess wished me a happy birthday and that was then end of it.

Bistro Jeanty is a classic French restaurant and one of our favorite places to eat in Yountville. As always the food was excellent - we shared scallops and steak frites after salad lyonnaise though this time the service was less attentive with a long wait between courses and were sat on the veranda which was covered and heated, but less cosy than inside. Skipped desert when a large group were split up and sat at several tables near us - guess they were drop-ins at 9pm on a winter evening.

Bistro Jeanty has been our favorite restaurant in Yountville for many years, and still is. The food is consistent and exquisite - French food without being very heavy! My favorite dishes are still the pike quenelles, the smoked trout appetizer, the lamb with beautifully done potatoes and my husband has never been there without ordering the cassoulet. We always look forward to Bistro Jeanty.

Bistro Jeanty was one of the few restaurants where we could get a table during the holiday week, so it wasn't our first choice. However it turned out a lovely evening. Being crowded, the restaurant was quite boisterous. The food was good, but be sure to ask your server. I had some lovely scallops, my husband enjoyed petrale sole, but a neighboring table was having lobster spaghetti, which they didn't enjoy and which looked very mediocre. French fries are excellent, and shared cheese plate would serve four. Ambience would improve if they would lose the TV over the bar.
