About
We love Bistro Grace. Their burger is outstanding and always have nice menu selections. This time I enjoyed the Cornish hen with some delicious vegetables.
We recently at Bistro Grace- it was quite empty so we had plenty of attention. Order the charcuterie plate- excellent salmon and cheese; the deviled eggs ( only 3 halves on the plate- why not 4? for $7, I think this they could be a little more generous); beef medallions/tournedos, portobello and pea tortellini, and duck breast - all really excellent!; the seafood medley, truly delicious-and big enough for a main dish- very yummy. The only dish that was a little disappointing was crawfish beignets- only 3 for $14, which isn't best value on the menu and the blue cheese was too strong- crawfish lost in the flavor war. The cocktails we tried were all great. Staff polite, attentive, and groovy. Eat here so it doesn't disappear!
What an amazing surprise!!! In town for Xavier graduation and found this restaurant by chance. This was one of the best meals we have had in a while. The deviled eggs, the homemade hummus... rack of lamb, the filet... no words. The macaroni and cheese added to the decadence. The meal was not over until the chocolate mousse cake was the last bite of goodness with a content sigh. Thank you chef, server, staff, owner.
We love this place. Owner Suzanne always takes care of us and Chef David's food is fabulous. Reasonably priced wine list (good for me) and good beer selection (for rest of family). If you haven't tried it go for it and then walk across street to The Hamilton Wine Bar.
Service was excellent and good ambiance. Good Tuesday happy hour prices for cocktails. Cocktails themselves were interesting but not so delicious. Good wine selection. Good options for gluten free and vegetarians. Beer cheese and pretzel app was good although the beer cheese was different than I have had before. Hummus was inventive (mixed with horseradish). Burgers were also on special - good but salty. Overall, good evening.
Great food. Perfect meal prior to the symphony.
Very good as usual. Salmon was perfect... and the Manhattan was good also!
Bass was fishy and server was very nice but hard to get his attention at times. The charcuterie is amazing and the wine bottles are a GREAT value!
Half priced wine wednesday is the BEST!
This is a wonderful place and the deviled eggs are wonderful.
Great neighborhood gem. Solid bar. Friendly, accommodating service. Food was delicious. We’ll be back.
We ate at Bistro Grace one other time and it was good, but this time it was even better! There were 6 of us, and all the meals were delicious. (Salmon, burger, lamb, and tortellini, as well as appetizers of deviled eggs and hummus with root vegs) Service was also top notch with Tabby as our waitress. We'll definitely be back.
Very personable, friendly yet professional staff and gourmet, delicious food in a beautiful dining room.
Six of us had dinner at Bistro Grace after attending a 4 o'clock show at the Playhouse. We have a lovely dinner. The table was situated so that we could all hear each other. Our food was very good and our server was great. Thank you!
Always great food and service. Excellent value
Grace Bistro is fantastic! A hidden Gem in the North Side!
The food was good. The tables are very small and they have a decent variety of dishes. There chicken was very juicy, cooked perfectly, but the quinoa was dry and the sauce was just okay. The Autumn ravioli had wonderful flavor and paired well with the Bordeaux but the pasta was overworked and chewy. Good service.
We were giving this place a 2nd shot due to our first experience not being to great. Much better the 2nd time around
Everything was great as usual. Great place!
Excellent food and service at a reasonable price
So a mixed bag- strip steak was amazing, beer cheese apptz was awesome. Dining partner had ravioli- it was pretty much tasteless- we both tasted it. Service was so so, it was busy on a Saturday night- ordered side dish of macaroni and cheese when our dinner arrived - server told us kitchen was backed up, and it wouldn't come out for awhile. They did bring it out at the end of dinner and didn't charge us - which was nice. Tried it the next day, and it was tasteless as well. Talked to our neighbors at the next table, they ordered monkfish and said it was awful!! They need t tweek the menu, and it could be home run
Given the selections of the Valentine's day menu, I had complete confidence my girlfriend would enjoy everything but I wasn't sure l would. I don't normally choose tofu nor many types fish or seafood. Venturing outside of my comfort zone, I was delightfully surprised how much I enjoyed the first course of spicy tofu with lentils and a cream sauce and the third course of Red Snapper, stuffed bell pepper and greens. Among the other great courses, I think they were my favorites. Everything was delicious! I've uploaded a picture of the delicious 4th course (regret not capturing everything), the seared duck with quinoa, etc.
Valentines Day. Four out of five courses were good. Service was great. Fell down on the main course with undercooked duck that was impossible to chew.
Unexpected fixed price valentine dinner which we thoroughly enjoyed!! Great bottle of wine at very reasonable cost. Eager to return:)
This location continues to create wonderful restaurants from Boca to Honey and now Bistro Grace. We really enjoyed the food, drink and service and will return soon.
This was my 3rd visit to Bistro Grace, and unfortunately, it was my worst. My business colleagues all said their food was good, but the monk fish was in some sort of brown broth, and it had the same vegetable medley as did the duck and steak plates. I had the duck, and it had some sort of overly sweet undertone, which didn't mesh well at all with underlying mushroom risotto - earthy with sugary sweet was odd. The sides came out cold, and without serving spoons or plates...I guess the monk fish broth could've had floating mac & cheese side with it? Very strange. If it wasn't for my outstanding first two visits, I would not recommend this restaurant, nor would I go back...I'll give it one more try in the future.
The duck cassoulet might be the best appetizer in Cincy. The food is great and 1/2 price wine on Wednesdays is a must. Overall excellent food and is more moderately priced than the same quality/type i.e. Maribelle's or J Alex. My wife and I love this restaurant.
Great place for a date night. Excellent food and drinks. Our waitress was very sweet and attentive. Very reasonably priced. Definitely recommended!
Lovely. Cute little place without trying to be overly trendy. Very nice service from everyone. The food...deicious. The deviled eggs were, well, nothing I could make somehow. Duck and salmon entrees were perfect in every way. Mushroom risotto was delicious. And the bread pudding was amazing! We literally cleaned our plates! Only minor picky thing...Caesar salad was weird, with full leaves of letttuce with small pieces...red onions and tomato. Just was a little meh! I will definitely be back!
It was our first time to Bistro Grace but it won't be out last. The good wad excellent as well as the staff. Tabby did a great job taking care of us and other members stopped by to say hello. I felt like is been coming there for years.
I eat out quite a bit and find Bistro Grace to be all around wonderful. Price, quantity, personnel, service, atmosphere and most important, the tastiness of the food. Just outstanding!
Best steak I've ever had in my life...I'm still dreaming about it. Everything was phenomenal, and I can't wait to go back!
Bistro Grace did it again. We went for New Year’s Eve, and this time we had a couple of vegans with us. Always accommodating, everyone had a fabulous meal. Still one of my favorite places.
Great atmosphere. Been here several times. However, Open Table didn't specify there was a select menu for New Years Eve. Wasn't what we expected.
This was new year's Eve, so they had a set menu, which was really good. We just felt really rushed. We were happy to go across the street to Hamilton's.
Server was from their sister restaurant, so knew little about the menu. Food was disappointing.
loved the place, hate to write reviews. sorry.sorry.
Our server was friendly and the restaurant was cosy. Entrees were much better than the starters. For people who aren’t foodies this is good value in a fine-dining atmosphere.
Everything was OUTSTANDING went on half nite bottle night and couldn’t have been more pleased!
Bistro Grace is one of our favorite restaurants. The menu is creative and entrees are wonderful. The staff is friendly, professional and attentive. If you have not discovered Bistro Grace yet, you need need to go!
Excellent find in North Side. They have a great 1/2 price wine list on Wednesdays. Food was exceptional! Service was great!
