   Just lovely. Girls were really attentive the atmosphere just right and good value for money. We will definitely be back. If you haven’t been give it a try you won’t be disappointed.

   Had early bird menu and enjoyed fare very much. Excellent service. Wine perhaps slightly overpriced. But all in all enjoyed our evening.

   Excellent menu, very nicely presented food and, above all, every mouthful was delicious. The Early Bird menu isn't time restricted in the early / middle week and two courses for £22 + £3.75 for a glass of wine gives a great excuse to dine out. A gem and as good as any of the big name restaurants in the city centre. Have to mention the server, who was welcoming, unobtrusive and knew her stuff. A gem in East Belfast yet only 12 minutes by Glider from the city centre

   I was very disappointed that they could not provide any gluten free bread for the soup or the chicken liver parfait. Their reasoning was that 'everything is made in house'. Very poor, I am happy to accept bought in and just felt excluded. Food was lovely but just not very warm. Not sure I will be back.

    We had a first-class meal and the food and service were very impressive indeed. How Bistro Este manages to offer such a diverse menu is impossible to imagine : it combines simple, fresh local ingredients with little twists that add so much to the taste and texture of each dish. We have been many times and rate it as by some distance our favourite restaurant. Long may it flourish!

    Just another wonderful evening in Ballyhackamore’s finest, I just love the whipped goat’s cheese starter so much I could eat a massive plate. The spring rolls were delicious just the right amount of crunch. My better half had the gnocchi with wild mushrooms and the gnocchi were like little pillows of heaven. I had the hack and goan curry another of my favourites. We shared a pudding, sticky toffee with ice cream finished the meal perfectly. Perfect evening again.

    Don't get to visit anywhere near as often as we should due to moving house, but Bistro Este NEVER fails to disappoint. Superb ingredients, perfectly cooked and attentively served. Michelin standard at local prices, what more could you ask for.

    My favourite place to eat out! Never disappoints. Food is always exceptionally good, however the friendliness of the staff is what keeps bringing me back - I don’t know if anywhere else in Belfast that has such a personal feel to it.

    Group of 8 having a pre show dinner so we were under some time pressure. The restaurant coped fine with this and food was good, service excellent and it was enjoyable though it would have been good to have been able to relax more without any time pressures.

    Restaurant was quite cold. Main course was very good, except for quantity of pork or lamb on our plates. Very scarce. Staff are very friendly, and as I spilt my wine, glass was topped up. Exceptional.

    Great food and service. I ordered from the a la carte menu and the hake main was outstanding. My friend however ordered from the much cheaper early bird menu and this was a lot more basic, but ok. If I went back I would stick to the a la carte even though it was pricey as it was fantastic. The service was great and really friendly. Lovely atmosphere, cosy with a bit of buzz but not too noisy or frenetic.

    Came here on a recommendation, always a bit wary of them. But I'm glad we came along. Food was very good, sticky toffee pudding is excellent. The wine per glass is a bit on the expensive side, might be chear to buy a bottle and take it with you. I would certainly recommend Bistro Este

    We had a lovely evening. Such a warm welcome, fabulous tasty food especially the hike in the grand curry, amazing flavours. Great wine selection too. Looking forward to going again soon, maybe add some chocolate to the dessert menu!

    8:15 was the earliest booking that was available on opentable, but when we arrived at the restaurant it was far from full, which was a little disappointing! Could we have got an earlier booking if we had gone direct? However, the food was delicious, the choice was great and although we did like the look of the desserts, we just didn't have room for them. I would highly recommend this restaurant to all family and friends.

    The staff were very friendly and helpful. Our starters were tasty and only had a short wait on the serving of the starters, however, we had almost an hour to wait on our mains which was very disappointing. I ordered the beef which although tender had the strangest of taste and I couldn't eat it. Due to the long wait on our mains we had no time for desert. Sorry to say we won't return.
