Went for Mother’s Day and the food and service was amazing. Will definitely be back.
The food was excellent! My fiancé and I got the French onion soup and the baked Brie to start and both were delicious - the baked Brie came with a refreshing salad as well. For entree we got the Octopus & Chorizo - wow, the best dish we’ve had in awhile.
For dessert we had chocolate mousse and Spiked cappuccino (ask for this because it’s not on the menu!) that was the perfect end to our date. The wait staff was also exceptional and super attentive. We cannot wait to go back and try more things on the menu!
Outdoor dining tent with individual heaters over each table so toasty warm. Basic table setup. Rained that day and tables near the entrance, floor was wet. But not crowded so sat at dry and comfortable table. French music gave it a more authentic ambiance. Overall 3.5 stars on atmosphere and environment. Could do a little better but still comfortable set-up.
Food was excellent with one exception. We tried the escargots, beef bourguignon, and duck l'orange. The escargots were amazing and when the tasty snails were all gone, couldn't stop dipping the bread in the garlic butter. The duck was also very good but unfortunately, the beef bourguignon was just ok. Was missing the carrots so visually all one color and dull. I also couldn't find any bacon and plate had more mash potatoes than stew. However, was the only complaint as we finished on a high note with the creme brulee.
Plan to come back since had debated on a few other items on the menu. Couldn't order them all but worth a second visit to try.
The food is outstanding, the service is very friendly and attentive.
I love this place. The food is always amazing and the staff is wonderful. I can’t say enough about this place. Plenty of parking in case you’re wondering. Little French gem of queens...
Ohh.. the food was so good, I ordered other menu items to go just so I could try at home ... definitely going back again and again and again lol
On top of the delicious food, the wait staff was absolutely wonderful. Looking forward to more dinners here!
Very good food and the service was great and very affordable
Delicious food, great service, nice atmosphere. Will definitely come again!
Couldn’t recommend this restaurant more highly. Delicious food, great service, great outdoor dining set up – just a wonderful French bistro experience.
Bistro par excellence!
I love this place. Food is delicious. My only negative point is that sometimes they take too long in bringing the food to the table, but the wait is worth it.
Delicious as usual!
Great brunch menu, our Saturday go to brunch
Food is always good. Love this place.
We needed outdoor seating and parking available. Found both at Bistro Eloise and more. Service was excellent and food delicious. A hit with us and a joy to recommend. We'll be returning for sure!
Bistro Eloise is exceptional! The service is outstanding and the cuisine is extraordinary.
What a delightful place! Bistro Eloise never fails in delivering a top-notch french flair menu, coupled with super customer oriented staff. It is such a pleasure not to be rushed through a meal, just like when you enjoy a good meal in France.
Friendly service. Very good food. Lamb chops and steak au poivre nicely done. Thank you.
The food here is excellent, as always. The service this visit was pretty bad. The restaurant seemed to be extremely understaffed on the Tuesday we visited. Stood outside for 20 minutes despite having a reservation. Requested outside seating and we were seated inside. The guy behind the bar was also the person seating patrons and taking orders. The super friendly maitre d from last time was nowhere in evidence.
for what it claims to be, Bistro Eloise needs to step up it's game. The saving grace is the superb kitchen. No complaints there.
Love the food here. Brunch is wonderful, as well. Friendly and high quality service.
I love the food and service. My family loves this restaurant.
Service was fine. Menu had great variety. Dishes ordered, lambchops and cassoulet, were generous and exactly what we wanted. Ambience was fine (oudoor dining) spacious, not too loud tho there were several diners. Being locked up pretty much for a year, ambience that's different from my apt doesnt have to be the Louvre. I prefer more comfortable w a horniness that tells me the owner knows this neighborhood and enjoys taking goid care of us
Bistro Eloise was a wonderful way to celebrate our return to indoor dining! The service was outstanding - prompt, but not rushed. Every staff member - host, waiter, and runner - was patient, attentive, and in good humor. My wife and I were able to enjoy a relaxing Saturday brunch in a full restaurant without having to shout across the table or without feeling like we were less important than other tables. The food was beyond delicious - we had a Croque Monsieur and the Crepe L'Orientele - and both were beyond expectation. We cannot wait to return to Bistro Eloise.
Always great service and a variety of French food.
A wonderful experience at Eloise, as always. One of our favorite restaurants. The food is great, the staff friendly and accommodating. And we have recommended this resto to many.
Not only was the owner attentive and waiting tables, the whole dinner was delicious and very well done. Definitely a hidden gem amongst the Queen area.
My favorite restaurant, since the day it opened. Elegant French cuisine in a casual atmosphere. Super-friendly staff and owner. "Neighborhood gem" is an understatement. Safe outdoor dining, due to its location at the inner corner of a strip mall, so only nearby traffic is within a parking lot at slow speed. Possible to dine modestly (sandwich or savory crepe or appetizer or weekend brunch with no "extras") or elaborately (several courses, plus cocktails, dessert, after-dinner drinks, etc. ) Just the best!
I really enjoyed this outing, my first indoor dining experience in over a year. The food was very tasty, the wine delicious, and the service unobtrusive and professional. My friend and I appreciated the plastic barriers between tables, as this isn't a big space.
Vincent the owner even came outside after we exited to make sure to say good night. It's the personal touch that sets a neighborhood bistro apart.
I love the vibe of this place and the food. We ordered 2 mussels and the lobster and crab salad. Best bloody mary!
Bistro Eloise never lets me down...the service and food are always excellent!
Love this place and everything about it . All food is delicious!
The food was amazing. You know it's authentic when the diners around you are speaking French. The service was great.
Always a wonderful time. Can’t get enough. We hope you can also come back to Sunnyside.
Great service and food!
Beautiful, clean, lovely surroundings. Superb cuisine. Kind wait-staff. No complaints at all. A+
Always a delicious and wonderful experience!
This little French bistro is a delight with amazing food. The welcome and service was wonderful. I used to visit the sister restaurant Cote Soleil but it sadly closed. I recommend trying the escargots. Don’t forget to get extra bread for the garlic butter sauce. My favorite dish is the Boeuf Bourguignon. Very is served very hot and delicious.
The outdoor seating has heat lamps to keep warm. Get a croissant from the bakery next store for an afternoon treat the next day.
I have been here many times. I was happy and satisfied with their food. It's such authentic French dishes like I was in France. Worth to go back soon.
Can't beat the combination of very comfortably COVID-safe and heated outdoor tent setting, and the excellent food and hospitality at Bistro Eloise. We're lucky to have this wonderfully unstuffy, and superb French restaurant in Queens.
vacation dinner. we had a lovely time! thank you!
