This is one of many times here, this time there were all new people. I’m very disappointed on how the dinner was very disappointed. Service was ok the oysters were not prepared properly and dinner was not good. Apparently this place needs a lil help. I’m the last person to complain or even say something negative but I’m really not sure what is going on here. My girlfriend and I ordered chicken parm the chicken look like a thick piece of chicken but was 2 pieces stuck together as we were cutting it we realized it was two pieces of chicken. When we first started going here last year we had to make reservations a week in advance but not anymore somethings going on the place needs a little bit of help and I’m very sorry about that.

This was a lovely restaurant with great service. It was small and friendly and the food was delicious. The waitress was great. Nothing was lacking. There were couples, several families celebrating birthdays, and everyone seemed to be having a good time. It is a BYOB and several people brought wine. We had a great dinner. Our group aged from 4-73, and we all enjoyed it and will return soon. They really make you feel welcome.

My wife and I dined here for the second time. We both dine lightly, and each got two appetizers. She had the eggplant cutlet and the tomato basil soup, I had the zuppata di Napoli (clams, mussels and tomatoes in a white wine sauce) and the bistro salad. All dishes were well cooked and seasoned, and were generous in portion for appetizers. The soup particularly stood out. The entrees were all appealing, but, in our experience, generally restaurant entrees are far larger than we can eat. The room is attractive, minimally decorated in wood and brick. The service was attentive, perhaps a hair too much so, but well intended. The staff that day was young and enthusiastic, and inattention by wait staff is not a good thing! This visit confirmed our very positive first impression.

They used to have the best glassware for fine wines. They had only one of those glasses left. When I asked about them, the server said, “We’ve made a lot of changes; we have new management.” That’s too bad. This was a distinguishing trait that brought me back to this BYOB, whose glassware matched the quality of the wines I’d bring to dine here.

We have dined at a Marlton Bistro DiMarino at least 6 times since opening. Not sure if they were having a bad night on June 18? When we arrived, there were no tables available for our 6 PM reservation. Four other groups came in after us and their reservations weren’t ready either. We were all forced to stand outside and wait. you can see the restaurant directly next-door was annoyed. A man came out and was putting up crowd rope to divide his place from Bistro. no one was dining outdoor at his place, but the overflow of crowd waiting outside happen to be standing in his area. When we finally got seated, we ordered the gnocchi sampler appetizer and our entrees all at the same time. Gnocchis never came to the table. food was taking such a long time. We watched people seated long after us and were already on their entrée. When I addressed it, the waiter blamed “they” never brought it? 10 minutes later, gnocchi sampler was quickly thrown together, all 3 varieties were blended together and delivered to the table. I believe, our order was never put in. The presentation of food on this particular night was nothing I had experienced before. Salmon was overdone as well. I have always recommended this location to anyone looking for a good meal at a local BYOB. Based on my last experience, I can no longer recommend this place.

My only issue was we made a reservation for 6:00 PM and we didn’t get seated until 6:45. They told us it would be a 10 minute wait but it turned into a 45 minute wait.

Such a nice place for dinner. Very good staff and so friendly. Their speciality is gnocchi meals although they have plenty of other choices. My wife chose Gnocchi Stefano and I had the short rib gnocchi. Both were so good. (Photos included). The meal size was enough that we both took leftovers home for the next day’s lunch. On top of that we both got desserts. I got the 7(?) layer chocolate cake which was amazing. I ate all of it! My wife had a slice of cheesecake which she loved, but took part of it home. (Photos included) Great place to have any kind of get together. As soon as it gets nicer, their outside area will be open for all to enjoy.

Repeat visit for Mother’s Day dinner. Our server, Caroline, remembered us from Easter. She was great, food was good. Everything was served in a timely fashion. Risotto was not as good as their pasta dishes. Good prices.
