   Although the food and service were good, in the end they got the check wrong and billed for prawns that hadn't been ordered or eaten. I only noticed the mistake when I got home. Complaint filed and waiting for refund of overpaid amount.

   As regular visitors to Bistro des Artes we love the atmosphere, the service (laid back and unobtrusive) and the food which is classical French fare. Plus they have a varied wine list though the house white is very good. Never have any cause for complaint when visiting. A great laid back choice for good food and wine.
