    Both the food and service was excellent. The shrimp in lemon sauce is worth a return visit soon. The beef with mash potatoes was also very tasty.

    What fab food, the lamb was slow cooked to perfection. Lovely staff made us very welcome and did a wonderful rendition of Happy Birthday for me!

    Great find! Our service guy was a touch off, but will give him the benefit of the doubt. Overall, food rivaled any 5 star resort dining between SL & SJ The warm apple crisp is a MUST!

    We shared the Pea Guacamole, which was refreshing and really nice. My wife had the fried fish tacos and she said they were possibly the best ever. That’s saying something because she knows a great fish taco. I had the sea bass on mashed potato and really enjoyed it. The service was friendly and attentive. There is nice Air conditioning and clean restrooms.

    The most frustrating thing about this place is that we have experienced superb food and service in the past, but the last couple of times that we have dined here, the experience hasn't really come close to those initial times. I ordered the shrimp and lobster risotto, and though inexplicably available only with shrimp, it was again outstanding and was the highlight of the meal. My wife ordered the "Flamexhco" [sic] pizza, and it came out almost cold, not crisp, and heavy with grease. We expected it to be rich and do not object to that, but it should be HOT and crisp to counter the richness. We had a couple of nice cocktails (aviation and mexican sour) but did not order dessert. The server seemed a bit miffed that we weren't ordering more food, but we had flown in that day, and my wife, especially, did not want to eat too much. The server explained that there was an apple tart that took 25 minutes to cook, so that if we wanted to order it, we should do so as we ordered dinner. We declined, only because we knew we might not be comfortable with so much food and didn't want to commit, but I expected that the server might offer other possibilities after the meal. We sat outside, and the evening atmosphere is very pleasant, with people walking up and down the street in the Plaza Pescador and a live saxophonist. We were dining on a Monday night and an informal holiday (Jan. 6), so we thought that the chef might not be in house, but we spotted him chatting with another employee as we waited endlessly for our check. (Yes, I understand that we need to signal for it, but you cannot do that if no one is paying attention!) Finally, I think that it's weird that out of all the fine dining places that we patronize in Cabo (we are here every January for two weeks), this is the only place where servers specifically ask to be tipped in cash. I'm not sure why, and I do comply with the request, but it seems out of place and a little off-putting.
