We had a nice meal. The cauliflower/zucchini appetizer was very good, and much lighter than I expected. I loved the potato pancake/ratatouille combo and the spinach gnocchi was nice but a bit bland. The apple strudel was fine but a bit disappointing — very little apple-y taste to it. Overall, a good meal. We were seated in the bar area and I would request the back room next time — it seemed quieter.

This place is a gem! Czech-Eastern Euro. cuisine is a refreshing addition to the DC dining scene. Excellent food — simple and delicious. We had pierogis, roasted duck with red cabbage, apple strudel for dessert. Interesting wine/alcohol choices (try the grass vodka....you'll never order Grey Goose again). Great service from a friendly staff. Cozy and unpretentious — felt like we'd stepped into a small corner cafe somewhere in Prague.

**WARNING** I checked in which offered a 10% off for brunch or lunch and they refused to honor it. This is the first time EVER I've run into a business that would not honor a check-in offer on Yelp. FOOD: Gross. Honestly skip this restaurant! Farmers Omelet $13 Potatoes, Ham, Mushrooms, Peppers, Tomatoes, Onion, Toast Spinach & Roasted Tomato Omelet $13 Egg White Omelet, Spinach, Roasted Tomatoes, Toast Potato Pancake $4 Potato pancake had a gummy texture, I'm not even sure it was potato? BOTH omelets had the overcooked egg crust which tasted like a plastic wrapper. It comes with toast, but it's literally put on top of the omelet - it's no longer toast, it comes as soggy bread! SERVICE: What service? Took order, food was dropped off, didn't see server until I had to track her down to get the check. Maybe check on us to see if we need anything after the food is dropped off? We both wanted toast not soggy bread but we couldn't ever get the attention of our server to help us. Also wanted pepper (there is no salt/pepper on the table) and more coffee. Again - no service.

We visited this restaurant on a whim after going to the movies at Atlantic Plumbing, and it was decent. Note that the location is in something of a No Man's Land near LeDroit Park. Had the fried cheese, bratwurst trio, and beef goulash. Unfortunately, the beef was a bit dry, but the sauce and bread dumplings were authentically Czech. We also appreciated that the drinks were economical.

My wife and I were looking for a place for dinner after her Saturday work and came accross the Bohem Bistro by accident. We are from Eastern Europe and well acquainted with the cuisine so, we decided to try it and were fully rewarded: their food was excellent and the cafe was very cozy. We were first visitors after they opened for the night but after it has become filled with visitors it got a bit noisily: the cafe room is quite small while as normally in America, people use to talk very loudly in restaurants, but this is not the Bistro's fault, of course. Also, when we were the only visitors, we were served fast but when the cafe was full, the waiter was torn between many people and we had to wait quite long. He was very friendly and corteous but probably the management should think about adding one or two waiters during rush hours. We will definitely come here again, moreover, it's in 300 meters from my wifes's work.

Excellent Czech food. Great Czech beer. We did not try the Czech wine but it looked interesting and the prices were reasonable. Tomas Satoransky likes this place, and he ought to know.

Advisedthe restaurant we were there for a 65th birthday and hoped to do something special and they offered us nothing. Tried to redeem a Dining Reward which was identified during Open Table booking and the owner claimed he knew nothing about rewards. Would not have booked there if I had known they would not honor my reward. Food adequate, service acceptable but nothing to rave about. Relatively cheap meal for that part of DC, otherwise not remarkable given so many dining alternatives in DC.

There was a wire - the kind you use to tie a loaf of bread - cooked into the eggs of my breakfast sandwich.

Had an amazing dinner with friends at Bistro Bohem the other night. The food was delicious, and they have a great offering of different wines you won’t see on every other menu in town. The service was also great!
