Thank you for your review but I am a bit puzzled we have 5 fish dishes on the menu and 6 meat dishes ( prime strip steak, short ribs, chicken milanese, grass fed burger, berkshire pork chop and long island duck)!
Without a doubt one of the top ten restaurants in CT. If you don't try Baldanza you are missing out on a woderful experience.
We’ve been eating here for years because the experience is consistently outstanding. Everything from salads to housemade pastas and main entrees are always fresh and delicious. Having sampled much of the menu, a few favorites are Kale salad, Parmesan Crusted Chicken, Chicken Milanese, Halibut, Salmon, Pappardelle Bolognese, and when we have room for dessert the Profiteroles are excellent. They offer a nice selection of wines by the glass, in addition to bottles. Lastly, the service is top notch. The owners and staff are attentive, gracious and always make us feel welcome.

We really enjoyed our meal! Great service, nice ambiance and excellent food. I ordered a drink that called for fresh grapefruit juice; they had run out so gave me a free glass of wine. Very nice touch. A little pricey but I think the food is all organic? Sorry to hear they are going back to New Canaan as Darien is more convenient for us. But we will make a trip for sure.

Eating outside was perfect as the weather was still warm. The food is always excellent and the staff is very helpful and attentive.
Only thing we regret is that we didn’t go sooner. We met the owner Angela. She and her staff were so friendly. The food was delicious, authentic and fresh. Will definitely be back!

This was not our first visit .It is always a great dinner .The food and service are excellent
The beet salad had no beets... Service good otherwise. I think sitting down around two o'clock was right before a break or dining change to dinner? So everyone disappeared at one point and we were the only ones.
This is a bit of a head scratcher! Our beet salad is our most popular salad and 50% of it is comprised with beets. if we ever run out of an item it becomes not available. The only thing I can say is that there are many layers of flavor in the salad and possibly you could not identify it. Please stop in again and ask for Sandy, Angela or Alex and lets do a taste test on us.
The entire evening was just lovely. The food was delicious, the staff was amazing, they were careful, clean, and I felt very safe. I would go back in a heartbeat

Lovely outdoor seating and good food at a reasonable price
The food is always amazing but I think brunch is really special. All the desserts are fresh every day and we had a strawberry shortcake that was to die for! Such wonderful service and calmness in the restaurant especially helpful during this crazy time period.
Another amazing night at Baldanza! This has become our weekly date night spot during quarantine since it has opened. Such a beautiful setting outside and Mike, our waiter couldn’t have been more friendly or engaging. Tuna tartar was incredible and full of flavor. To follow, we both got the salmon as we usually do, which was cooked perfectly accompanied by fresh clean veggies. They really make you feel like regulars when you go and every time I leave I look forward to next visit.

The best food in Darien, CT! Every meal is exquisite with such flavorful food. The weekend brunch is just as wonderful. I rarely post but this restaurant is deserving.
