    We ate on the outside patio. We had an amazing view of the lake while dining. Food was on point. I had the huevos rancheros, which did not let me down. The only downside was the fact that there are birds flying around you constantly

    When we arrived for our noon reservations, our table was not ready and we were asked to wait in the lounge. They forgot about us. After 15 minutes I returned to the host stand to apologies that we had not been seated. Our server was inattentive. No refills, no checking up on our food, forgot part of the meal, no ice after we requested. multiple drinks on the menu were unavailable. In summary, not the Father’s Day experience we were expecting. Very disappointing.

    The restaurant has an amazing view, with the beach of Lake Tahoe in sight. The seating arrangements are fun and casual (we sat outside) and you can walk the beach and they have tons of yard games set up. While the food was very good, we were frustrated by a delay in our reservation, we weren't sat for about 20 minutes after our reservation time and then none of us got drinks for about 45 minutes pas our reservation time, the food took another 45 minutes to come out. The waitress was very nice and apologetic for the delay as well as one mixed up drink. We were a group of 8 and made our reservation days in advance, but in the end were sat in a corner of the patio that was set back with no sunlight.

    Honestly food coil and should be better for the price. I know it is a resort restaurant but that is no excuse. Beautiful grounds.

    Excellent location and ambience. Service was wonderful as well. Our food was great. Your at a fine restaurant in a very fancy hotel, so just be aware that is very expensive. Know that coming in and you'll have no suprises.
