Georges River 16ft Sailing Club is situated on beautiful sandy shores with picturesque views of Botany Bay towards Towra Point and Woolooware Bay. We offer an array of excellent facilities from providing beautiful dining and catering experiences to reception and conference venues. The value for money at the venue was definitely not there. The menu items we had were really overpriced. $44 for steak, with the choice of chips or salad - not both - was over the top. Then you had to buy vegetables to make the meal more substantial - $12 each for some broccolini and brussel sprouts. My seafood platter was all battered and the batter was heavy and oily. Won't be going back to the 16Ft Sailing Club any time soon.

Service was excellent, and food flavoursome and plentiful. Visited for lunch and had great views over the river and enjoyed watching the fleet of young children learning how to sail. Had a very enjoyable few hours. I understand that although premises are a bit outdated, renovations are to shortly commence which will make this an even more attractive venue and we will definitely return.

Restaurant located in a prime loction on a pretty beach, but overall experience was not great. Acoustics in the venue made it very noisy. Meals ordered came out all wrong & at different times, so those waiting for all other meals to come out had to eat a cold meal. Food was overpriced for taste, quality & lack of service provided.

Friendly staff & very good service. There was a great variety of dishes to suit most dietary needs. Very good portions & presented well. There is live music & screens for the sports fans but they are not intrusive.

Food was delicious! Worth joining for $2.20 for 5 years to get the discounted prices. Lovely outlook over the water.

The seniors special was very disappointing - I had the lamb kebab - total 4 small pieces of meat. Small amount of the thinnest chips I’ve ever seen - the amount of potato in them was barely discernible. A few leaves as a garnish. I realise this is a low cost ($15) option but it was really only suitable for a child.

Just all round amazing! What stands out most is the customer service. Everyone is friendly, kind and helpful. There is an amazing view of the beach and it’s a relaxed atmosphere. Love the soba noodles with tuna, always my go to.
