Great food. Separate robust-offering vegan menu. Fabulous service - by the whole team. Couldn’t have been happier.
Attractive Persian restaurant with excellent menu selections. If it is your first time there, best to try the sampler dishes (for two or more) that will give you good introduction.
Lunch was a very pleasant experience. The food, especially the vegetarioan dishes, were special, because of the spices and the manner of cooking.
The food was delicious and flavorful. The menu is very large and accommodates many dietary needs. The service was excellent and they were very attentive, especially given that it was my husband's birthday, they prepared a dessert and brought it to our table, they packed our food, and were very gracious. We will definitely be coming back!
Neema was a great server. Very attentive and helpful with my 2 nieces who were first time diners. Unexpectedly quiet, but it was a plus for me! The grilled meats were awesome!! The veggie dishes were tasty, but too over embellished for my taste. Will definitely be back.
lots of vegetarian and gluten free options and if you like lamb they have a wide range of excellent choices
Bistro Aracosia has excellent gourmet Afghan food and large menu to select from. Very nice service and plenty of vegetarian options that will please even a meat eater.
Great food and service! Veggie and vegan options available and tasty! Appreciated servers explaining the dishes and wine list.
Lamb tenderloin and beef tenderloin were outstanding! As were the chicken stews! Staff made our family and our kids feel like family. Will definitely be going back.
Flavors. Actual flavors. I'm realizing that for the most part, dining out is akin to eating cardboard. Aracosia is my favorite cure. They indulge all the senses with stunning attention to detail. Five stars are insufficient for their constellation of subtle excellence.
Loved everything..bread and four curries that are provided all exciting to try..then we had vegetarian combo and a beef and lamb combo so that we could try everything...and the service was very friendly, helpful and just perfect
We LOVE this restaurant. The food and service is awesome!
The service and food were both outstanding, as usual. The vegetarian platter is always recommended.
Food was excellent. Server was very nice and brought vegetarian version of one of the appetizers at no extra charge
One of our favorite restaurants in DC!
This was my fourth visit to this gem - love love love it. The use of spices is delicate and masterful, the dishes are all impeccably prepared, the service is warm and friendly. One of my all-time favorite restaurants.
went there again on NYE. Place was packed and food was wonderful; however they more than doubled the price of the dishes for that night. I understand economics, but still.
The food and service were both very good. We had the dumplings and the lamb chop signature dish and they were both very tasty.
The food is excellent. I have enjoyed all dishes I have ordered. The pumpkin dumplings are outstanding. My favorite dish is the chicken kebobs because the seasoning is wonderful.
The menu had enough choices to please everyone in our party of 7, including the vegetarian and the hearty meat-eater. The servings were bountiful and the food was delicious.
The staff is so friendly and the food is delicious
Excellent food, filled with flavor. Every single dish was excellent - the qormas, kabobs and boulanee. The vegetarian risotto was one of the best dishes I’ve ever had. Go multiple times and try everything on the menu - best dining experience in DC
Great authentic food - highly recommend. All of the meats are well marinated and the menu is unique.
Wonderful, vibrant food. Gracious host and attentive waiters. The restaurant is very full, but the service remained excellent. While crowded, the atmosphere was joyful and happy.
Great dining rooms experience. Welcoming greeting amd friendly staff. Our waiter Diego was very attentive and knowledgeable. The food is exquisite Afghan cuisine. By far the best I have tasted.
Delicious food and a fantastic waiter and maitre d
Great meal, great service, nice ambiance, enjoyable evening all around!
Wonderful food! The mix grill meats were outstanding: great sampler, perfectly cooked. All the dishes are very tasty and there is a wide variety of choices available: vegeterian and vegan too.
Wonderfully flavorful food, served with a personal, knowledgeable touch, always a pleasure to eat at Bistro Aracosia. Simply put, it is currently my most recommended restaurant in the DC area. Omar stops by your table when he is working. They have regular specials.
Amazing food with very nice service. Our waitress was attentive and had many suggestions which were all on the money delicious. Even the kids cleaned their plates and that’s saying something.
Our 3rd time and as delicious as slays. We love Bistro Aracosia!!
I have eaten here before and it does not disappoint. My visits are not as frequent as I would like. I hope it never changes.
First time there with five of my staff for a holiday dinner. We all loved what we ordered, the waitress threw in some extras for us, we will all be back!!!
Amazingly delicious cuisine with warm hospitality. Our group of 7 enjoyed a wonderful evening at the restaurant. Look forward to coming back.
Good food but too noisy
Enjoyed a very nice birthday dinner. Started with a couple of appetizers which were both very good. Bread and four chutney’s were excellent!! Main courses of stews and kabob were all excellent, especially on a cold evening! Wrapped up the meal with very tasty piece of almond cake. All in all a very nice evening with excellent Afghan food!!
I absolutely loved Bistro Aracosia. Although this was our first visit, my family and I were regular patrons of their first restaurant (Afghan Bistro) when we lived in the state so we’re certainly familiar with the quality of food and the excellent service. Needless to say, absolutely nothing was loss with the opening of a new restaurant - the food was amazing and the service was outstanding. We’re here in the area fairly often and as with Afghan Bistro, we will definitely stop in for dinner at Bistro Aracosia each time we make the 1200 mile trip here. Looking forward to visiting the newest location in McLean/Tyson’s when it opens as well.
Delicious food and sweet
