This is a restaurant within a hotel that unusually also lives up to being a neighborhood favorite.
We've even met folks who have dined here for years after work before facing the traffic to get home further afar.
Whether you're a local looking for a casual, high quality and reasonably priced meal, or looking for a dinner and/or drinks while traveling for business or pleasure, you'll be happy that you found Bistro 888!
Starting with Zoe, a long-time fixture at Bistro 888's bar area, you'll find an excellent, professional and overall wonderful bartender and server! Zoe and others on the team make sure you are served great drinks and receive great service.
Then there's the wonderful food.
We love the burger and everything we've tried here in the evening.
The fine dining adjacent Michelin starred restaurant, Luce, will (sadly) close this month.
The restaurant's influence on the kitchen team continues to influence the quality you'll find here.
If you are looking for breakfast, you'll also find a long time team who are friendly, professional, likely to remember you, and more. We love the buffet, but I believe they also have À la carte options, but we admittedly haven't taken that route.
You can opt to be social by dining at their expansive bar area, or retreat to the dining room where you can enjoy the high ceilings and open space at a regular or high table, or retreat to a cozy booth.
We aren't lucky enough to live in town, but have been to this hotel many times over many years and are yet to be let down.
