Nice outdoor area - great for business lunch. Service great
Restaurant was very quiet, maybe due to the later hour of our dining. It's normally a full dining room and not ever too loud. You can carry on a conversation without shouting at each other. Our server was the same as from a previous lunch and he's wonderful. Very attentive without disturbing your enjoyment of your meal. He shared that the chef can tweak menu items to suit dietary preferences knowing that some of our party was not consuming breads, rices, pastas. We all settled for soup and salads and they were wonderful! I've dined here 4 times in the past and it's never disappointing. Always great service and well prepared meals that don't feel heavy!
Our waiter, Steven, was helpful and knowledgeable. All of his suggestions were stellar and my four friends and I thoroughly enjoyed our wine and entrees.
The food was delicious and served freshly made at the right temperature. The service was a little slow. Also, even though I made a reservation, the host tried to sit us at a small table crowded into a corner on the patio when there were plenty of other two tops available. I requested another table and we were accomodated.
Soup came out cold and not very good, service ( our waiter ) was really just not very good, not sure why this place is busy !?!?!
This is a wonderful restaurant with professional waitstaff and excellent food. The entire dining experience is top shelf. All items on the menu are tasty and just the right proportions.
Two of us had the Dover sole and it was fabulous. Another member of our party had steak and said it was awesome.
This restaurant is consistently outstanding snd service is impeccable.
Amazing Fresh! Fresh! Salad topped w/ perfectly cooked Salmon...tantalizing homemade dressing...Delish!
I had a lovely lunch here recently with my darling mother-in-law. The food is always excellent, it is busy but in and exciting way, not too loud, and the service is flawless. One of our favorite neighborhood spots. Always lovely!
The service has always been excellent and the food fantastic. I had the Bistro Gallette for brunch, which was absolutely delicious. The manager, Michael, is one of the very best, welcoming, funny and accommodating. The wait staff are some of the best in the business, knowledgeable about the menu, specials and wine list. Bistro 31 is our favorite restaurant in Dallas. I highly recommend dining here for lunch, brunch or dinner.
The brunch quiche and chopped salad is for real men!
We visited this restaurant on a Saturday night and it was very busy. The trout special was delicious as was the salmon. The service was excellent, especially considering how busy the restaurant was that night. I would say that the noise level on the back patio where we sat was fairly high.
The food and ambiance are always good, so we always return. I must say that we got the run-a-around on our table and it didn’t sit well with us. We might not be “regulars” at this restaurants, but we consider it one of our go-to restaurants with friends and out of town company. We don’t appreciate how we were treated.
We were seated in the out door-ish area covered w/plastic. The NOISE in there distracted from everything else!! Under NO circumstanse should anyone be forced to put up with that.
I would recommend B 31 only if one were seated inside,
Food was outstanding. Several had the halibut which was delicious. Service was very good as always. Bistro 31 is one of my go to restaurants because I can always count on great food and service. Menu is varied which makes it a good place to entertain.
Service was spotty at the beginning, but got better as the crowd thinned. Patio dining is awesome here.
FABULOUS FOOD AND SERVICE! CELEBRATED MY HUSBAND'S BIRTHDAY AND IT WAS TRULY A LOVELY EVENING.
Every dish that we selected was delicious. Very nice wine selections, both by the glass and whole bottles. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive. It was a little loud from the bar directly above us. Love this restaurant!
Always a treat. Great staff, great food, great ambience! Thanks Michael and Stephen for another wonderful Sunday brunch.
Steven was an awesome server! He made us feel welcome and added to our great experience. I can’t imagine coming back to Dallas and not eating at Bistro 31.
The food was great but we were put in the corner by the bathrooms under a distracting huge tv. This dinner was for Valentine’s Day and we were expecting a nice dinner for a chance to chat and enjoy each others company. Sadly the music and people around us were so loud we couldn’t hear each other.
The salmon latkes topped with caviar were amazing, as well as the Dover Sole! Service was outstanding- a fabulous evening overall!
Atmosphere was lovely and the wait staff was friendly and was on it.
Food was mediocre- definitely have had much better brunch food and mimosas elsewhere in Dallas for cheaper or the same price.
We loved the overall service and food. Our sever/waiter was so helpful and informative.
Food and service were great, as always. Very accommodating staff even on busy Valentines date night. We love Bistro 31!
Amazing experience. Michael and his team deliver the highest quality experience. Overall, the cocktails, food and service was second to none. We will definitely be back.
I went upstairs vs downstairs as it was my first time and didn't know where to go. The host didn't seem to know or care if we had reservations so he just seated upstairs vs asking me if wanted to go downstairs. The upstairs is less formal, more casual and load (music and people). The food was great and the service just okay. The server brought the lobster bisque with the other dishes, and the soup was not hot enough, I sent it back to reheat. We had very tiramisu with a candle for my sister's bday, then took quite a long time to get the bill. I'd give food a 4-5, service 3.5, and hostess at entry a 3 for not sitting us is the right location.
Wonderful place to take out of town guests!
This is our favorite place to dine in Dallas. And even better on Valentine's Day!!!!
Staff gave very attentive & specific care to our entire experience.
Fab service, expected food to be outstanding.
Great food and service but everyone crammed into tight space and noise level soooo high with conversations elevated most of the time, unable to carry on conversation across the table in a polite way.
I took colleagues to Bistro 31 because the service is impeccable, the food always good, and it is quaint. Always a GO TO for intimate business conversation.
Sat upstairs for brunch...AWESOME
Wonderful service and the Filet Mignon was fantastic
I came here for my boyfriend’s birthday. The only thing that upset me is that there was no acknowledgement that it was for a birthday. I had to have the waiter tell the hostess to read the notes on the reservation. And then they failed to tell me what I had ordered was going to cost 42 dollars! I just wanted gluten free pasta, marinara and some light veggies and fish. Nothing too crazy and my meal was the most expensive thing on the entire bill. Server was AMAZING.
Lunch with out of town friends.
Bistro is always terrific!
