We dined indoors due to the weather. The space is dark and needs to be improved with small changes like table cloths, candle holders instead of putting plastic battery operated votive candles on the table and flowers in a vase. The food was just ok. We ordered three orders of boeuf bourguignon that had stringy beef, very thick gravy and a few potatoes and carrots The bistro 1902 burger was very good but difficult tho eat The mushroom risotto was excellent but the chicken addition was dry.

Totally below expectations, understaffed, they took half and hour for the appetizers.

If it wasn't for the waiter with great customer service I'd give this place 1 star. This is the 3rd year I've been here and the 3rd year I've had a horrible experience. We'll start with when we sat they didn't have any menus and when we got one it was missing pages . After 20 minutes we finally got our drinks . Since they employed only 2 servers for Valentine's day. And hour later our drinks. Then it started to Rain and we moved tables to a table I had to hold up from falling over. 2 and a half hours later we got our food . The mushroom risotto was bland and actually the only thing you taste was the truffle oil it's in. My wife got the squash ravioli which actually only has 3 of the seven ravioli are squash the rest are cheese. The whole 2 hours we were waiting we only had one drink and a warm Glass of water. The waiter never had a chance to come back. The bread is good though which is all we ate for 2 hours. My honest opinion is stay away from this place at least for holidays maybe there brunch is good but nothing else is and like I said I tried 3 times with the same results. Maybe the owner should stop being so cheap and actually hire servers , at least for the holidays.

A lovely dining experience...Richard was extremely accommodating from table selection to umbrella when needed. Delicious duck confit and bronzini entrees. Escargot appetizer was wonderful. Our 2nd time dining here and we will return.

Avoid going here if you can. Firstly, the item prices on the Open Table listed menu are different than the in person menu. They have increased their prices. The quality of food and the dishes are bad. For some reason, “pow pow shrimp” was an appetizer brought to us at a french restaurant. With that said, the shrimp and the foie grad terrine were the most edible things served this evening. We were not told that the boeuf bourgignone was not available prior to us trying to order it. The “half backed chicken” ended up coming as two overcooked and over salted chicken breasts. The “jumbo shrimp” was for some reason supposed to be with gnocchi under marinara sauce, however that came as plain shrimp in a soup of oil and diced tomatoes with store bought, reheated gnocchi. The baguette brought to the table was lukewarm but under baked, white as snow on the outside with no crisp; almost as though it was bought pre made and not even fully baked on premises. Now, on to the service. The chef was serving plates to the table and handling the bread with his own bare hands as he was putting it in our bowl. No appetizer plates were cleared prior to serving mains, and for that matter, they were not cleared at all throughout dinner. This all should have been expected after the red flag was raised when we walked into a completely empty dining room at 7pm on a Friday evening. Unfortunate dining experience, avoid if you can.

Thank you for a wonderful dinner. It reminded us of dinners on Saint Martin and brought fond memories to us. The whole staff made us feel welcome and were very attentive 😁

We were very surprised to find the restaurant almost deserted on a Saturday evening at 8:30 pm. The parking was difficult, but manageable. There was a musician outside on the sidewalk terrace, but inside of the restaurant there was only one other occupied table. The maitre’d was in short-shorts and a tied shirt and she showed us to a small table with a menu board full of very high-priced entrees. We looked at the regular menu for the more moderately priced options. I had a pappardelle carbonara, which was greasy and unappetizing. The appetizer bread was delicious, though.
