We always love Bistro 146. Their drinks, their food and their service, which is lacking in so many restaurants, is always good. It’s a great restaurant if you want seafood but their meat dishes are good also. It’s one of our favorite special occasion restaurants and actually a good restaurant anytime.

We stopped in for a light dinner, so we were the only guests for a while. The inside is a bit old/dated, but clean. The food was very nicely presented and I really enjoyed my fish taco appetizer and salad.

This is one of my favorite restaurants. I have reviewed it several times and given it much higher ratings. The menu is extensive ( with an emphasis on seafood). The food is excellent and the service fine. But this time and the last 2 before it the noise level was excessive and I couldn’t enjoy the meal. There’s outdoor seating and I will only return if the weather is warm enough to sit outside. They have to do something to reduce the totally unacceptable noise levels.

The choices were excellent. We shared an octopus appetizer which was very good I had the broiled sea bass special which was excellent My wife had the surf and turf lobster and steak which would have been excellent except the accompanying mashed potatoes were too salty. For de desert we had the flourless chocolate cake which was very good.

Horrible experience. Table not ready on arrival. We set it up ourselves. Took over one hour to have a waiter to come and get drinks order and almost anther one to get the food order. I won't return.

Our family of 8 gathered for a special event. We sat outside on a beautiful summer evening. The street noise can be a little louder than you might like; otherwise, it was fabulous. The food (shrimp dumplings, mozzarella, prosciutto and figs for appetizers; halibut special, shrimp and pasta, mahi mahi, lobster roll and swordfish) was absolutely delicious. Everyone was thrilled. One diner’s shrimp allergy was noted and treated seriously. The owner and servers were nicely attentive and helpful. We would highly recommend Bistro 146!
