   We waited 45 minutes to see a waiter and place a wine order - and we then waited another 20 to receive the beverages - everyone around us was served - when the appetizers were cleared we had to get up and ask for silverware after waiting another 15-20. Nice people darling place but the service needs to stepped up and they could have turned the table and had more business had they paid attention / there seemed to be no reasoning To the serving sections - and clearly our waiter didn’t know he had a table waiting for nearly an hour and his teammates didn’t seem To notice table of 4 sitting without service for that hour - odd but still we will visit again and see if this is typical

   Amazing steak house! Loved everything, food, ambiance and service! I had filet mignon Oscar style and my husband had the scallops.

   While the food, and most notably the steak, was absolutely amazing - the service left much to be desired. No notes on the food. Examples of service. Ended up waiting ~20 min past our reservation time to be seated, our waiter took awhile to welcome us after sitting down, and most notably the food servers rarely explained the food that they were delivering outside of maybe a sentence pretty unenthusiastically. For the elevated prices and atmosphere, would have expected a bit more pride in their dishes and wanting to convey that to the patrons. All in all, great food, decent service that has room to grow.

   Everything was fantastic. The wood fired New York and Filet were perfectly cooked. Plenty of options for sides. We loved the smoky mushrooms that really complemented the steaks. Honestly going to be our new steak spot in Portland.

   Good steakhouse. They'd only been opened for about 2.5 months so I'd say what they're trying to do is ambitious! Having a steak experience at the table is definitely worth it, drinks are perfectly flavorful and executed well. I don't know if I need for my steak to sit and rest as long as it did, but I was quite happy with the taste when it arrived. Also the kale and souffle were a huge hit!

   This was our first time at Bistecca. Bread was a big disappointment. Cold sandwich bread with bitter/grassy EVOO is not how yummy focaccia should be presented ever. Lobster rolls were good. Hasselback potatoes and cauliflower both were very average. Steak was fine but forgettable. Overall, just not quite there.

   The food and service was terrible. The steak was overcooked, the gnocchi was very mushy along with the sauce which is white and has no taste. The chicken is bland and tough. I never write comments but the dinner was for 4 and it was $500 and was so bad that I hope others do not have such a terrible experience.

   The Wagu steak was cold when served and much closer to rare than the medium rare we ordered. The asparagus was tasteless. The best menu items were the mashed potatoes and the Caesar salad. Waiter didn’t stop to check on food until we were almost finished eating. Drinks were good.

    The restaurant decor is fun. staff were nice and friendly. Our server Lux was very attentive. It was really hard to hear the staff or my friends. We sat in the long booth in the southwest corner so maybe the noise in that location was the problem. Even leaning forward we couldn’t hear each other. Food takeaways: The mushrooms were overcooked, the marinated olives were awesome, the crab cakes were just ok, the grilled little gem Caesar salad was the bomb, the ribeye was not juicy, the bone in NY strip was good, the asparagus was lacking flavor but had a nice crunch, the cauliflower was great, both potato dishes were great, the horseradish and bernaise sauces were good, the salts were good (it’s awkward how there’s a salt person). They ran out of the broccolini and they had already doled out the 10 - $42 burgers they make per night so we didn’t get to try those. Suggestions: They should ask the table collectively what salts to bring and then just leave a bit of those for people to pass around at the table. They should make sure the NA drinks have a completely different name than the alcoholic drinks. They should somehow dampen the restaurant noise.
