   Overall it was a good experience, food was a little slow to come out and was just okay, beet salad was good. Overall service was great. The restaurant was very clean.

   This was our second visit —this time to celebrate a family member’s 30th birthday. Everything was great. The ambiance is just what you look for in a downtown restaurant serving fine food and cocktails - history plus sophistication. My King Salmon over risotto was a perfect combination of flavors and cooked just right. My Bellini Martini was delicious and a great way to celebrate. My only wish would be to have a little vegetable included with the main. I love this dining here and is my good to destination for a special evening..

   The charred octopus appetizer was amazing! The steak sandwich was served on a large oval plate with no side or garnish, therefore, the presentation was not appealing. The wine pours were very small. Our server was not personable at all. We asked if there were any specials and she pointed to the menu and said, "This is our menu." She didn't offer any suggestions or ask what kind of food we like to offer suggestions. We had no interaction with her as it was all business. Would not recommend as the overall experience was lacking.

   The kitchen was struggling to get food out. When it arrived it was great! We will give them a second chance. They have only been open a few weeks.

   Hi Jim, Thank you for your positive score, but also thank you for your honest feedback. I'd love to address both: Our high ceilings with the preserved historic tin ceiling make for wonderful aesthetics but challenging acoustics - we are addressing that with incoming acoustic panels, bass traps and new carpeting. As for food temperature, we pride ourselves in serving food at its best, and it sounds like we did not get it perfect for you. I am confident we will deliver on that promise in your next visit.    Give this little gem a try. Such an important addition to the downtown dining atmosphere. We ate there for Easter, and had a lovely time. We were a party of six and shared three appetizers. The artichoke hearts are simply amazing. Smoky, tender, full of flavor. For dinner, I had a salad and added a piece of grilled salmon to it. It was delicious. The salmon was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My dining guests had everything from the salmon entrée to the pasta carbonara. No one had any complaints and everyone quite enjoyed the experience. For dessert, we ordered a trio of items, the pot de creme, the olive oil cake, and the homemade donuts. They were truly delicious. The pot de cream was simply unbelievable. Rich, creamy and not too sweet.  They are still figuring out a few logistics, but we didn’t mind at all. It allowed us an extended time to chat with one another and enjoy each other’s company. Ashley, our server, was fantastic! Ask for her!

   Atmosphere was wonderful, service was great and food was wonderful. My only complain is the children's menu. I don't mind paying a higher price for a nice kids meal, however this was a 14.00 for a side of fruit. My whole adult breakfast was 18.00. No complaints otherwise.

   Three weeks in and the staff has a long way to go to learn the art of restaurant service which was very slow with little follow up for water or refreshing drinksj. They seemed lost and it was palpable-awkward even. Our entrees arrived before used appetizer plates were removed which confused our servers as they had nowhere to place our food. Our entrees were quite flavorless (mushroom pasta and the wood fired mushroom with polenta). The limoncello cheesecake was not a baked cheesecake but an oddly piped soft serve of cream cheese with no discernible lemon flavor. Hoping they work out the kinks soon as the potential is certainly there!

   The food was excellent! The service was very good and the ambience was absolutely wonderful. Mailing concern was I did not want the side that came with my dish and the server helped me choose another side and then they charged me nine dollars for it which I thought should not have been done Since it was the only side I had come with the dish in the dish itself was $34 other than that it was a wonderful experience. I am also fault as I should’ve spoke up, but I didn’t look at my receipt until we had left because we were in a hurry to get to an event

    Service was fantastic from the greeting at the hostess station to our waitress! The food was outstanding especially the charred octopus starter! Absolutely loved this restaurant 10/10!
