Such a beautiful new addition to downtown Dayton! The food and ambiance was wonderful. The service was very slow, but I think that comes with any new restaurant. It was also extremely warm in the restaurant….to the point some people were sweating. Besides that, I would definitely recommend everyone give it a try. It is a beautiful restaurant.

Food, service, ambience were wonderful. It's pricey but worth it for a special occasion. Nice to have a new, nice place to dine in downtown Dayton!

First of all. Our server Doll was great. We had a reservation, but still had to wait for a table to be cleaned. The kitchen was slow getting food out. The chips appetizer were ok, but nothing outstanding. We waited awhile to get them. I ordered the Risotto and it was good and serving size was generous. My friend ordered the ribeye medium and it came out more well done. Our waitress returned it to the kitchen with no hassles. The 2nd steak was not medium either, but my friend decided to just keep it anyway. We've been to 2 restaurants recently that can't seem to get medium steak correct. We also ordered fingerling potatoes which were not seasoned enough and grilled asparagus which was good. For dessert the olive cake and donuts were good. Lastly, the noise level was way too loud.

Nice atmosphere and good food. Our party of 6 had the salmon, pasta, steak, and pork, The only negative comment from any of us was that the pork was a little dry. Overall a good experience.

Last night went to Bistecca before The Concert for Peace at the Schuster center next door, I had made a reservation earlier in the week & looked forward to trying the newest restaurant in Dayton. The restaurant was busy as other diners had same idea as us, we reviewed the menu & started with drinks Earl Grey Negroni & Ginger Smash plus ordered 2 starters Grilled artichoke hearts & Burrata. The drinks were fantastic! The artichoke hearts were good but I’ve had better burrata too much was filled in small container, the onions weren’t grilled enough too raw & only given 3 small triangles of bread We finally ordered dinner Risotto & Tagliatelle Cacio e Pepe The food arrived but brought me Carbonara, so had to wait for my dish, once it came it was 20 minutes before next door & so ate a few bites & tasted nothing like Cacio e Pepe dry with no flavor couldn’t even taste any pepper. We also saw other tables getting their food before the show, one table with 4 steaks sent them all back. I know many of the dishes are wood fired but the wood fire smell was too much in the restaurant next time will just order drinks at the bar.

The restaurant is beautiful inside and the service was great. The steak was just okay and parts of it came well done when I requested medium rare. The thyme bone marrow butter with garlic confit I was so excited about was honestly underwhelming and bland. The croutons in the Cesar salad were extremely hard and not good and there were boiled egg whites in the salad not listed on the menu description which I thought was odd. For the price, I would say not worth it.
