Food was great; it was a busy Saturday night so felt a bit rushed towards the end of my meal...
Everything was great - except for the fact that we saw the owner of the restaurant cuss out a buss boy for 5 min right next to our table.
Always enjoy my evening here!
They aren’t prompt on reservations
We were a group of 5 women for lunch. Rocco was a great server and had good suggestions. We shared a number of dishes and each one was fantastic!
Asked for strip steak cooked medium, it was bloody and raw!
Nice social spot need more variety of alcohol food was good especially Crab beignets. I liked it
Me & the besties celebrated our bdays together here & it was great! We had reservations for 7:15 and it was soft music playing with a few seated at tables and then around 9/930 it was like a club scene. People were still seated at tables but the music was louder & there was bottle sparklers & flashing lights. We enjoyed it but if you’re looking for a nice soft romantic dinner just come early! Over great experience!
An odd experience. The restaurant setting was well done and the food was priced high to match. But the quality of the food was mediocre, service was sloppy and overall the experience was disappointing. A glass of sparkling wine was completely flat and it took us over five minutes to get a waiter's help (and this at the relatively quiet time of 7pm); one starter was brought out but the other one arrived some 8 minutes later only after we managed to flag a waiter down again; the brussel sprouts were well seasoned but the veal was dry and uninspired. The staff cheering and cavorting and bursts of music (apparently when someone ordered champagne?) made it feel we were in a much cheaper restaurant. Poor value.
Our waitress was unprofessional.
I had an absolute blast here at Bisou! The service and staff was beyond amazing! I’ve been numerous of times and I am always pleased!
Very good food, great service from Vincent.
The noise level made dinner conversation very difficult for a party of 6.
Steak and lobster were amazingly good. We had a wonderful experience and the service was excellent. Highly recommend.
Went for the anniversary special - $20.19 for steak and 1/2 lobster tail. The lobster tail was overcooked, so a little leathery. The filet was perfect-tender and tasty. Great value that could be greater had the lobster was done right.
Waiter and bartender was very rude don’t know if I was being judged but the bartender ignored us rudely and then snapped on us when we were just trying to close our tab. Told waiter I didn’t want any more tap water because I had sparkling water and he still poured water in my cup and said oops my bad with the sparkling water isn’t free it cost and he mixed it with tap water and didn’t even pour it out.
We had to wait 10 minutes at the door before someone came out to seat us. We were the only table at the restaurant. They told us at the beginning that they closed at 10pm because it was a Tuesday and when we asked for another appetizer at 9:30pm, the waiter said the kitchen had already closed. The food was delicious but the service was horrible.
Our favorite place in Houston for a fantastic night out.
Lively spot, perfect for a light meal before a night out. Good food, loud music and bottle service to your table is an option.
Birthday dinner a bit loud. Service was ok
I was very pleasantly surprised by this place. Actually, I loved it. The food was great, the drinks were great, and the service was stellar. What more could we have asked for? The spicy brussel sprouts and cauliflower appetizer dish was my favorite. I couldn't stop talking about it. I also enjoyed the olive oil and garlic sautéed spinach. My husband enjoyed his swordfish fillet. The affogate for dessert was the cherry on top - incredible!
Excellent filet mignon. The music was pumping, made for a great date night.
Birthday dinner. Great experience!
I had great time! Will certainly come again with my friends
Food was great. We had no idea that is was such a club atmosphere, but it did make for a fun evening!!
Went there for HRW brunch. Beets with goat cheese and lobster egg white omelette were excellent. Then went to dinner recently. Truffle mushroom risotto was excellent as were the cauliflower and scallops. Have followed chef at Cafe’ Perrier and Aura his food is wonderful. Will not return because waitresses and hostess are scantily clad. That goes with the name of the restaurant, but this customer doesn’t like it.
We enjoyed our experience. Just did not like sitting at the small tables. Would have preferred a booth or larger table.
We were seated in a booth, which was as comfortable as a pew in a church, pushing your back towards the front. The advantage was that we didn't see the bar, which after a while became quite busy and noisy. Service was average, reasonably efficient, if not friendly. The appetizers were mixed: the escargot and bone marrow combination was mediocre. The bone marrow was too strong for the escargots. In addition, the bone marrow had freezer burn, giving it a stale taste. The roasted beets were very good, although the portion was huge, probably enough for two. The flounder main dish was excellent, as was the smoked duck. We also ordered a side of asparagus, which was done to perfection. The Profiteroles were excellent but the Tarte Normande was just average. Bar service was slow, despite few customers when we arrived.
We had lunch here and everything was lovely. It was quiet and not busy but would probably be much livelier and noisier at night. Service was great!
The ambiance and music gave it a sexy vibe! The food and drinks were great, the lobster omelet, delicious! Great place to brunch with my girls, I'm sure lunch and dinner is fantastic as well!
Went during the Sunday Brunch Party and I had a great time! Would definitely go back!
Nice high energy environment along with a nice ambiance. For the price, the plate of food lacks, however, the taste is satisfactory. Service is where the restaurant lacks the most. I’ve been three times and my personal experiences with ALL different servers is personality. They lack customer service skills. Management should do more coaching and developing if they want the restaurant to portray the image they’re striving for.
We were there on a Saturday so the only menu was the brunch menu; I did not realize that from the website that “lunch” is only served on the weekdays.
The restaurant is beautiful; we will return!
Good atmosphere and good music
Great atmosphere and staff. Pork was extremely dry.
It's worth dining at Bisou just for the lump crab beignets, though everything I had was delicious, the avocado toast, the sole and the bread pudding. I highly recommend this restaurant.
That was great Night ...
Food was great, restaurant was super loud. Turns into a club later at night with a DJ. Music was great just difficult to have a dinner conversation.
It was fun and food was good. A little loud when they deliver champagne but I think that is the allure for the younger crowd
Absolutely the best service I’ve ever had - most attentive and knowledgeable (of the menu and restaurant) waitress we’ve ever had.
We were celebrating a birthday and Kayla made the night one to remember.
Amazing steak and dessert too, service can not be beat.
Kayla was our server and she greeted us to take drink orders. This place turns into a club at night so it certainly has a bit of clubbiness even at dinner. Filet was fantastic as well as the sushi. Great selection of food. Great place for a date night without kids! We'll be back!
