Darn good biscuits, and darn good blues! The food in general was good, but nothing to write home about. The big draw is, of course, the live music. The venue is really good, and I will definitely head back here the next time I want to listen to some live blues music.

Great live music -- we saw Toronzo Cannon, who plays guitar well, has a great voice, writes soulful lyrics, and has put together a great band. He's the whole package, and we would gladly come to see him again. The food was good too, although pricey, so we skip dessert. I love the way they keep our water glasses full.

I liked the setup and acoustics. Food was also OK, but I didn't like the idea that when having dinner for one, you are forced to the bar (this time I wasn't because restaurant wasn't full), but as a policy it sucks because in bar one is facing to wrong direction and eating there is not really pleasant. There should be a way to have proper dinner when listening the band, even when having dinner for one person.

When I asked check for my two course dinner and two beers, on check I did have three course meal and two beers, where none of the food was correct and price was 10usd bigger than it should be. Was pretty hard to see that all in the dark and staff was quite busy elsewhere until I was able to ask correction. This was only one time this happened to me, so it was maybe just one rare mistake. But as a general rule: Check your bill carefully before pay, might be good idea everywhere.

Worse thing this time for me was that, when one goes to blues club and there is 'band' that does not have a bass player? It has very negative impact for the music when one whole player is replaced just by one hand (keyboard), it is big part of the (blues) music and big part of the improvisation completely missing. I know that cannot blame the restaurant and most of the people did love the band anyway. For me it just was too much and I couldn't stay until the end of the show. Sorry.

Great venue for seeing great blues groups! Great sound system. No bad seats. An intimate club that is a Goldilocks size (not too big, not too small, Just Right).

Strike 1 - No fried chicken! No hot wings! For a place that prides itself for fried chicken, to be out on a Saturday night is extremely odd.
Strike 2 - the Heather Gillis Band doesn't belong in California much less B & B.
This was my 6th time and it was a terrible experience. I know from past visits that this was a fluke. No more strikes.

The service was fine except our order for dinner was completely ruined. With a band playing it’s impossible to get them to correct mistakes. I ordered the vegetarian jambalaya and I got meat. My bf ordered coleslaw instead of greens and got greens then coleslaw on the side. (He really hates greens). Everyone gets constant water refills when they could have asked if I wanted more lemonade. They only push refills of booze. The food is actually pretty good if they get your order correct.

Heather Gills Band was excellent.
Speedy evening but worth it, we bought lots off the menu!
Great very different variety on menu!! Different tastes/twist on cuisine. Great flavor!

Went to hear Sonny Rhodes and pay respects to the man. Late 70s and still out touring.
Service was a little unfriendly. Jambalaya was great. Music was good but it’s so loud. It’s a small place. Not sure why they turn it up to 11.
Worth a visit. I’ll go back for a good band/act.

Best blues club in the Bay Area! The music and acoustics were spectacular and the food was really good, too. The cocktails were a bit pricey but I suppose that is to be expected for this type of venue.

Neither of us had been to Biscuits and Blues for several years. We both enjoy blues music and made a date. In the past the food and music were great if not overpriced.
It's still overpriced, but not worth returning.
It seemed our waiter opened his first bottle of wine, he was so nervous.
The biscuits were stale. The spinach salad was the best part of the meal. I had fried chicken, he had grilled salmon. It was okay.
The band was described as hot, sexy dirty blues and they were tepid. We were not impressed. We left as soon as we could flag down someone to give us our check.

Wow, what a find! Went to the early show to see Lloyd Gregory & Friends and had a fantastic and fun time. We had a bite to eat prior to the show and the food was delish! I had the gumbo and a biscuit and my friend had the wings. We both agreed the food was great! The band was off the chain! This is a fairly small venue, which is a good thing, as there is hardly a bad seat/table in the house! The staff were friendly and engaging. A parking garage is a minute or less a walk away, on the same side as the club. But, of course, you're going to pay San Francisco [parking rates. Although you can search the surrounding streets for free parking but we just bit the bullet and used the garage parking facility. Overall, I highly recommend Biscuit & Blues if you're desiring drinks, food and music!

There wasn't much on the mneu that wasnt "messy" i.e. ribs, chicken. So I ordered the meatloaf, which had way too much pepper in and I think it had green peppers in it (it was a dark) . But I LOVED the live music
