I was looking for something to do on a Saturday night and came here because I love blues music. I WAS NOT DISAPPOINTED ONE BIT. The music was amazing along with the energy in the room.
Waitress said seats we wanted were reserved no one sat there all night, As a long time customer was a little irritated by that
Awesome evening, King Solomon was the real deal and probably going to be the next BbKing
Food was extremely fresh, well prepared and service for a live music venue!
Only complaint out of two wines!
Wonderful food service and outstanding music. Great value for San Francisco. Will definitely go again
Overall EXCELLENT! The opening act, Kevin “B.F.” Burt; duuuude u crushed it!! And King Soloman Hicks - love love love ur hella fine beats... 👊👊👊
Watching the blues played well, close up, while eating gumbo, catfish and succotash and drinking craft beer: bliss!
Wednesday night. Not crowded. No dance area.
Band ok. Tired and older. Expected better.
Wow, what a find! Went to the early show to see Lloyd Gregory & Friends and had a fantastic and fun time. We had a bite to eat prior to the show and the food was delish! I had the gumbo and a biscuit and my friend had the wings. We both agreed the food was great! The band was off the chain! This is a fairly small venue, which is a good thing, as there is hardly a bad seat/table in the house! The staff were friendly and engaging. A parking garage is a minute or less a walk away, on the same side as the club. But, of course, you're going to pay San Francisco [parking rates. Although you can search the surrounding streets for free parking but we just bit the bullet and used the garage parking facility. Overall, I highly recommend Biscuit & Blues if you're desiring drinks, food and music!
Nice quaint club with great musicians. Have gone there for dates and birthday celebrations
There wasn't much on the mneu that wasnt "messy" i.e. ribs, chicken. So I ordered the meatloaf, which had way too much pepper in and I think it had green peppers in it (it was a dark) . But I LOVED the live music
Great spot for music and really good southern style menu.
Kenny Blues Boss Wayne was a delight. I was sorry to see such a modest crowd
Good food and GREAT blues
The food is always great - I love the biscuits & fried chicken. We only go when there's a show - not sure if they are open when there's no live music. The tables are small - so expect to get to know your neighbor.
Fabulous little venue with great food. Our server was upbeat and had great menu suggestions. The fried chicken, meatloaf and buttermilk biscuits were all delicious! We will definitely be back for future shows.
Ribs were very good. Beer selection is limited. The music is what makes it. Popa Chubby is quite the guitar player -- had a great time!
Absolutely a gem. $4. Stockton Street parking inexpensive tickets, this is a gem in San Francisco to hear fantastic music.
My entire family had a rocking good time and enjoyed a meal together. My kids said it was authentic and reminded them of the Cotton Club.
The two times I've been there the music is perfect. Great artists and who know how to keep the audience engaged and happy. I love the fried Chicken and the biscuits are killer.
Perfect volume and fantastic acoustics made a great evening had by all!
Great acoustics and fantastic Blues music. Good food exspecially the brisket. Wine bottle prices are a little high. Service is great and friendly. Always a great time.
A blues dinner club with good food and great music. Delicious fried chicken, gumbo and, of course, fresh biscuits. Great blues and well-situated tables, so you all (or y’all) have a good view of the stage. A great venue for blues fans and any fans of good music, with a nice Southern style dinner tossed in.
The fried chicken was tasty. Annika Chambers and her band were fantastic and our waitress even danced with us for a little while. Quite the pleasant evening.
Fabulous place. love the ambiance and the music was awesome! I can't believe i have never been there before...we will DEFINITELY be back!
Music is fantastic. I love this place. The best place to hear blues on the west coast. Food was good, but seems like quality has decreased slightly. Uncharacteristically long time for food to arrive... nearly an hour. Still highly recommend and had a wonderful time. Have been many times and will return time and again.
Great venue for music, with delicious cajun food and great service. I always try to stop by whenever I'm in San Francisco.
Very intimate venue for music. Good seating throughout.
This place was my gamble. Never been, never heard of it. It paid off big time. Noise level, ambience, food. Every seat had an intimate view of the stage. Im 60 now and it made me feel like I was 25 whooping for Otis Taylor with a totally sincere crowd. I felt lucky to be there. I am coming back. This place is my new go to in the City. I like small and intimate. Throw in comfort food, friendly staff and talented musicians and who could go wrong. Why did it take me this long to find you??? Just Go.
This is a cool place! Definitely a cool place to have a few drinks and listen to some cool live music.
The staff was awesome. They are very friendly and the food was delicious. Went to see Crossfire, the Stevie Ray Vaughan tribute band and they were amazing.
A very good date-night out with my wife!!
So we were interested in having a nice comfort food dinner. Well here you also have to purchase concert tickets so that added $60 onto our bill even though we had no interest in the show. Fine. Then we had to wait outside in a line to get into the restaurant. Seating was awkward. Service was good. We both ordered the fried chicken. The outside was delicious and crispy. The inside of the chicken was bland but juicy. The rest of the meal as average at best. Drinks were okay. The show was okay but not great. In the end, counting the cost of the tickets, it was about $200 for the two of us. It wasn’t worth what we paid. I won’t be going back.
We were disappointed in that Lavay Smith spent so much time standing around jiggling. The Black trombone player/singer was the REAL show. He was fabulous!!! The musicians were terrific!
It was my birthday and myself loving Blues I booked for Sundays show and built my hope up for a great time. Show started at 9pm and the band was the show, they started pulling people from the audience to take the stage because Featured Artist was not there (terrible). The Feature artist got there at 10:05pm took the stage and sang 3 songs and said good night. I paid my money to be entertained by the audience. I was so disappointed coming all the way from LA for this let down. Birthday ruined, 2/11 was my birthday
I love Biscuit and Blues because the seating is for just the right amount of people. It reminds me of the night clubs from years ago. It brought back sweet memories. I'll return over and over again. Biscuit and Blues is my new spot!
We had a very enjoyable time. The food was okay though a bit on the pricey side. The entertainment was wonderful.
Awesome club, awesome performances! The Band Soul Soldiers were amazing!
Love Love Love this place! Highly recommend It to anyone who wants an adult fun night out!
Overall had a wonderful time the Tony Lindsay show and company was spectacular. My friend from Bali visiting was overjoyed by the performance.
One of my favorite places for great music, pleasant ambiance and friendly staff.
Great blues !!!
It’s nice being in an establishment when everyone is there for the good food and music. There is not much diversity, but that’s ok because the kindness and decency of the crowd far surpasses which races are represented. Biscuits & Blues is a great hang out place & ticket prices are so reasonable.
Friday night blues! My niece from philly was in town and I wanted to show her the Bay Area music scene. It was one of the best shows - great food and the staff at biscuit and blues are prompt and professional. I always order the catfish small bites, shrimp balls, étouffée and of course the biscuit.
You have tor try the “blues ice tea”- it’s potent!
It’s a must for blues & jazz lovers in the Bay Area
Great music, great food and drinks, great service, and great vibe.
