Best gin bar i have ever been to. Staff are incredibly helpful and polite, Even with restrictions and the stress of a time limit per booking they do a great job to accommodate!

Whenever we go the births deaths is it a first class fun experience.
They know us by name and the drink .

Awesome place. Was recommended by my brother and exceeded expectations. Staff were the friendliest and most informative staff I feel like I've ever experienced at a bar/restaurant.
The "Arranged Mariages" are a great way to sample and learn about several different gins - highly recommended. We loved the "Fruit Flight".

Great location for a Christmas catch up or just for a catch up in general. Very knowledgable staff. Fun, relaxed location.

Was great the staff were very friendly and knowledgable, however minimal food options and when ordered the food never came.

The staff were so friendly and likeable and the variety of drinks was interesting and entertaining to say the least. This was the first time we had ever been and we loved it! Will definitely be back.

Music was too load. Conversations had to compete with music making the room very noisy. not intimate.
Didn’t seem acceptable to order a known cocktail not off the menu, and was made a poorer version for it.
The service seems to have lists it’s shine.

Walked in, mad chats with Connor (service marn) vibes were at least a weak 9. Absolute scenes throughout the whole night. Would recommend to relatives, overseas relatives and also to those who have participated in bar mitzvah’s.

Best bar in Wollongong. Delicious signature cocktails from the menu that gets updated every 8 weeks. Bartenders are lovely, attentive and easy-going. The noise level is low so you can enjoy having a conversation too.

Love it here! Have only been in Wollongong for 2 months, yet I have visited Births and Deaths, at least 4 times already - and have a table booked for next weekend! 😆

Friendly staff, great service and amazing food. Highly recommend the gin tasting menu, you will learn a lot about gin, in a fun way 😉.

Great service and great drinks would definitely recommend stopping in!

They rushed us out the door. It spoiled our experience.
Trying to squeeze in 90min seating and also sell the extra drink.
When our drink hit the table they came over and asked us to settle up. Also started setting places next to us and strong hint to drink up and get out.

The drinks were great and our hostess was very nice and informative... but unfortunately we felt that we were pushed out the door.

Best gin & cocktails in Wollongong. Jared & the friendly team will run you through the drinks menu & help you decide which delicious drink suits your taste. Be warned - It’s hard to stop at just one drink as they’re so good! And to top it off there’s a real emphasis on Australian native flavours & distillers. A wonderful showcase of “Aussie spirit”. They also have some tasty, simple & hearty food options if you want something to soak up a few drinks.

Births and Deaths is my go-to bar in the Gong. The guys are awesome and the drinks and food never disappoint. If you're looking for a place with a cool and classy vibe where you can kick back and enjoy a nice Gin then this is the place to be.

A spectacular journey of themed cocktails, knowledgeable and energetic staff, fast service, great atmosphere.
The perfect bar with friends or just thw two of you for a date night.
Would also make a great venue for a small party with gorgeous modern decor.
Highly recommend!!
