The food was mediocre. The service was terrible. So slow. Our server had too many tables to manage. It wasn’t her fault. We had theater tickets and had to leave. We never got offered dessert and had to go to the hostess station and tell them we needed to pay so we could leave. It took forever for server to come to our table for drink orders and then had to wait forever for drinks to arrive. Way overpriced for quality of food.

For this type of restaurant I would have expected some bread and butter. Server was fine, just seemed overwhelmed at times. Maybe they were understaffed? We asked for the bill to be splint into 2, after paying and leaving I realized we never actually received the bill, just the card vouchers for signature. I like the opportunity to verify what I'm paying for. It took longer than expected to get our main course after the salads. Otherwise our meals were all good. We didn't have time for dessert.

First time back in years - went Friday before the ballet (and used $25 gift card earned as a season subscriber). Asked for a quiet table in the back and the host gave us the option of two even though it was busy. Great service and food with a killer bottle of old vine zin!

White fish and salmon entrees were ordered; they were a bit dry and not seasoned. I really like that we don’t hear conversations from the tables next to us. I’ve been here before and ordered a pasta dish and it was delish!!

Chicken parm was over cooked and chewy. Plus the breading was kind of gross. The fettuccine Alfredo was good. We ordered cheese bread as an appetizer and we did not get it until after we finished our entrees. It was ordered before anything else. And we were double charged for the bread.

This place is gross. The food was on par with noodles prepared in any college door with lack luster flavor. The eggplant Parmesans only flavor was salt and nothing else. The decor was original 1990s and not in a good way.

We dined here before going to see a show, and the service was very attentive and the food served promptly. We owed weed the chicken piccata (very good) and the grilled salmon. I would have given a higher rating for the food but the garlic in my linguini was burned and the salmon slightly over cooked. We were also celebrating a birthday, and they brought out a complimentary dessert with a candle. The band was just starting up and played a few Blues songs… which we could have stayed. Overall , great experience and will be back to listen to the band, for sure.

First visit, won’t be the last. Our server, Paco, was attentive but didn’t hover. We ordered from the Curtain Call menu and everything was outstanding. I had ceasar salad, chicken marsala, and creme broulee, my husband had house salad, filet with grilled shrimp, and chocolate mousse. Steak cooked to a perfect rare.

I was able to get a reservation one day before, so helpful. Had spaghetti and meatballs, salad and garlic bread. The meatballs were very good. Garlic bread had no garlic…it was Nice crispy buttery toasted French bread. Wondered if this was on purpose, so I wouldn’t have garlic breath at the theater? Also, I had to ask for Parmesan cheese for my spaghetti, then she brought out a shaker of preground cheese….a little bit of fresh grated parm cheese would have put a very good plate of spaghetti and meatballs over the top…the host and hostess were friendly and seated us quickly, our server was excellent, we had a very nice table for two at the window, our food came quickly….which I was concerned about with opera tickets….I would definitely go back, as it was 95% great experience and very close to Jones Hall.

I had my two granddaughters with me to go to the Michael W. Smith concert and it would have been nice to have had a menu that would have allowed them to order something that would have been a smaller portion. Neither of them were able to eat even close to the amount of food they were served. No child menu was offered. They are 9 and 11. Thanks,

We felt bad for the server because he had way to many tables to take care of. Someone at the next table went a got the manager. She came to help with drinks. We ordered mix drinks that were all melted by the time we got them. We made reservations and arrived early but were seated right away which was nice. I do think that people with reservations always get seated around the corner on a deck...at least its been that way for us. It would be nice to be seated out in the main dining area where the musician is.

We were seated immediately which was great, but the server rushed us on ordering drinks and food. We ordered our salad and entree and the entree came almost 2 minutes after our salad was delivered. The salad was decent but the entree was absolutely awful. We ordered the crab cakes and fettuccine. The fettuccine and Alfredo had absolutely no taste, the noodles were dyed green- no spinach taste at all. The crab cake had shells inside and was just overall mushy. It took us 20 minutes from walking in to finishing our meal because it came so quick but then took 45 minutes to get our bill. We obit came because we had tickets to the Alley- we will not be returning. We use to be frequent patrons but the quality of food and service has declined so much over the years. We even heard our waiter say that another waiter quit mid shift so he was busy taking on those tables.

Maybe the least impressive brunch buffet I have ever seen. For $40 per adult, you would expect food in every tray and a variety of options. Half of the options were empty the entire time we were there. My husband was so disappointed, he did not eat. I love this restaurant and was so surprised and disappointed.

We love Birraporetti's. We always choose this restaurant when attending the Symphony. We make reservations a couple of weeks in advance, and they are faithful to give us a table on time. Our food is good, and the servers very pleasant. We would come for dinner more often if we didn't have to pay for parking.

Appetizer and salad were ok. Entre of shrimp scampi was tasteless shrimp in some sort of goopy noodles. It wasn’t butter and it wasn’t olive oil. I never did figure out what it was. Staff was nice but badly in need of training.

Unfortunately we did not have a good experience. We had reservations for 4 and were sat at a table right next to the entry door. The AC was entirely too cold and we literally froze the entire time. The waiter was flustered from the moment he arrived and talked alot, but was not attentive to our needs. We complained many times about the AC and were told that there was nothing that could be done because the building was old. We ordered salads that didn't arrive until we were almost done with our entrees. Just a bad experience overall.
