The outdoor seating setup was well done and was plenty warm with the heat lamp! Food was excellent and the service could not have been better. Great night all around!

We sat outside for two and it was nice to have the option although the area around Penn Station can be quite loud and that can’t be helped. The food was lackluster at best with very bland preparation of the caprese salad and the orrechiette was overcooked, slimy and oily. My guest has the chicken piccata which he seemed to enjoy. For a restaurant that serves old school Italian classics, I expected better.

The woman at the door and first bar was very nice and friendly but my waiter clearly catered to the regulars and I found myself asking others for items. I had the ragu and the sauce was hidden below the pasta. I pay for the ragu sauce and I want to see that prominently all over the top of my pasta...I do not want to search for it...not much was given either. I ended up ordering additional meatballs to make certain I got enough protein to offset the carbs. The staff needs to be friendlier.

We tried this old world neighborhood gem for the first time last weekend. It’s a casual, small intimate space and very quiet. The menu is limited but they have daily specials. I had rack of lamb, one of the specials, my husband had salmon, which was the fish of the day. Both were excellent simple preparations and delicious! We will definitely be back to try some of the Italian specialties. Reservations are recommended.

We reserved our table for a lovely Valentines Day dinner while we were visiting NYC. The restaurant is lovely and cozy, filled with ambience. We enjoyed the mozzarella appetizer, lobster fettuccini, sausage rigatoni and fresh baked bread (so good!). We paired our meal with the half-bottle of Montepuliano which was perfect with the meal. Staff was expecting us and was very attentive throughout the meal. If you love authentic and cozy Italian? This little gem is absolutely worth the visit!

Very authentic northern Italian meal. Made to order, many pasta dishes are home made. The manicotti & chicken milianase was uniquely delicious. Treat yourself & make a Rezo.

I met my sister in NYC. She was there on business and I am from Long Island and was going to the New York Ranger game that night. I picked this restaurant based on proximity to Madison Square Garden – it’s literally around the corner, I also picked it based on the reviews. We shared a beet salad that was delicious. She had chicken Marsala that came with three cutlets! I had octopus which was delicious and perfectly grilled. Then we shared a piece of cheesecake that was to die for. I would definitely go to this restaurant again!

As usual, we had a very nice meal. The pasta is cooked perfectly and the homemade sausages are outstanding.

Food was good the staff was a 10th of the tables kind of small. We were seeing a concert after word and the staff did everything to make sure that we made it in easily

This is one of those neighborhood gems with an Italian family that only cooks with the freshest of products, in simple straightforward genuine Italian food. Coupled with very friendly accommodating staff it was a great experience.

Jackie our server was outstanding. We sat at the bar and she explained the entire menu while we were waiting for the rest of our party. When we moved to our table she again provided great service. The food was top notch

The specials are always delicious. I had the ravioli, which was made fresh and the sauce was perfect. They have a full bar and decent wine selection.

Cozy restaurant with good food waking distance from MSG. Quaint brick walls and a nice bar if you want to hang out before dinner. The chef easily accommodated my wife's special diet. Katarina and the rest of the waitstaff were all very good.

The food was excellent! Our table was too close to the ones next to us. Other than that...perfect!

Love the atmosphere of this place with the exposed brick walls and bar. Biricchino's was authentic and intimate so definitely make reservations as I'm sure it fills up fast! I appreciated the complimentary bread and pitcher of water on the table. My sister and I each had the Manicotti, my grandparents each had the Rigatoni, and my aunt had the steak - all were very good. We each got a separate dessert and they were delicious - definitely save room for them! Our server was polite and memorized everything we ordered. We never felt rushed and really enjoyed our time there! Definitely would dine there again.
