Almost every protein on the menu can be sliced thin & sampled as part of a charcuterie board for an appetizer, this includes prosciutto Parma, Wagyu top round beef & more. As for the entrees, Biricchino Northern Italian Restaurant has several authentic pasta dishes sure to delight fans of classic Italian cuisine. Naturally, there is also a large selection of fine Italian wine

Great pregame spot before Rangers games. Quick service and good food.
Great restaurant close to Penn Station. A lot of construction on 29th, but quiet inside. I appreciated their attention to vaccination status.
Great food and service, we were all looking for a Tasty Pasta fix, did not disappoint!
Biricchino is a lovely place, quiet, fabulous ambience; great exposed brick walls and lovely decor. They were able to offer me gluten free pasta which was perfectly cooked as well. So well that I wondered if they had made a mistake and given me wheat based pasta. Seafood was cooked to perfection as well. Absolutely delicious!
Not good value for money. Small pieces of ravioli for $20.
Loved Biricchino. Has an old world ambiance & feel. Food was great. Service was great. Will definitely return and have dinner with my partner as soon as we’re able
There were only 2 waters on staff but the service was still great, the food was even better! I would defiantly come back for more!
Waitress was fabulous
Our server / hostess was excellent. Food and wine fabulous.
The food and drinks were amazing! Servers were also very nice
Cute little place with exposed brick walls. Very nice staff. Food appearance and quality and taste were all excellent
My family and I greatly enjoyed our meal, the setting and the service.
In the hot weather, they would not accommodate us with a move inside, even though tables were available inside for the duration of our dining time. No smiles or friendly warmth from staff.
Everything was delicious!! 😀
Mopst enjoyable family celebration with the most outstanding chacuterie and home made sausages and pasta.
Great Northern Italien restaurant at awkward time of day (5 pm) needing to catch train!
Food was fresh and delicious. Service was great!
Highly recommend it!
Would go again if ever back in New York.
Convenient location if wanting to dine near Penn Station. Food was fine, at a reasonable price. Very accommodating service and nice atmosphere. Outdoor seating also available, which looked nice but very close to passing cars on W29 St.
Food and cocktails were amazing and the service was great!!! Only drawback was that it was super quiet (no music playing or anything) so that felt a bit off
Service was great waitress was top shelf
Delicious, authentic Italian traditional cuisine.
This was an amazing small Italian restaurant just near Penn Station. We took the LIRR in from Long Island to have a date night in the city and this restaurant was beyond amazing. The service was amazing and the atmosphere was incredible. Very quiet and spacious, but not too much so that you miss out on the ambiance of NYC dining. All in all, a great place for a fabulous Italian meal.
As usual the food and service was great, wish they still had grilled octopus!
Food here is good. Our waitress was wonderful. We sat outside which is lovely considering that the neighborhood isn't lovely and there's car traffic going to the tunnel next to you. Seriously though - it was so nice that you don't mind the cars and environs.
I get it, you were slow, but don’t ruin our dinner clearing out all the tables, chairs and heaters while we’re attempting to enjoy your mediocre food.
Had the Rigatoni. It was very good. Haven’t been in over a year but the quality is the same
This Restaurant far exceeded our expectations. Our server, who was also the bartender was fabulous. Food was amazing. We will definitely go back!
Food was salty and over priced for the amount provided. Music played via a free version of Spotify so it would either be dead quiet for minutes at a time or would be loudly interrupted by ads.
Tiramisu wasn’t bad though
I’ll never go back. Service was horrible. The waitress was so unfriendly and when I asked her to help me pick the wine she just showed me the menu. Their heater is also so loud’ it turns on and off and when it does it sounds like a car accident is happening outside so distracting! Worse Valentine’s Day dinner I’ve ever had. I wouldn’t eat here even if it was free
Great outdoor experience - felt safe and warm. Service was attentive and the food was well prepared and delicious. Interesting cocktail options as well
This restaurant is a must go to on your next New York trip or dinner out! The staff was extremely friendly and the atmosphere (especially for it being outdoor seating while it was raining) was superb. We did not get wet while dining and our food came out quickly and was delicious. Will definitely be returning when we are back in the city!
The outdoor seating setup was well done and was plenty warm with the heat lamp! Food was excellent and the service could not have been better. Great night all around!
We sat outside for two and it was nice to have the option although the area around Penn Station can be quite loud and that can’t be helped. The food was lackluster at best with very bland preparation of the caprese salad and the orrechiette was overcooked, slimy and oily. My guest has the chicken piccata which he seemed to enjoy. For a restaurant that serves old school Italian classics, I expected better.
The restaurant was closed!
Chicken Picata was amazing and out server, Matthew, was absolutely wonderful!
Grilled octopus was fabulous!
Cozy place with great food and wonderful service. Looking forward to my next visit.
The woman at the door and first bar was very nice and friendly but my waiter clearly catered to the regulars and I found myself asking others for items. I had the ragu and the sauce was hidden below the pasta. I pay for the ragu sauce and I want to see that prominently all over the top of my pasta...I do not want to search for it...not much was given either. I ended up ordering additional meatballs to make certain I got enough protein to offset the carbs. The staff needs to be friendlier.
