Good food and service. Convenient location. Good atmosphere.
Staff always friendly Food fresh and delicious love the specials best Ravioli anywhere
Nice looking place with a solid menu, but the service was subpar and the food was just not that good. We ordered the house made sausages, and a few had really odd and terrible flavors. The chicken milanese had literally no flavor. I had to borrow the left over sauce from my dad's manicotti (which was good enough -- not great) to give it some kind of flavor. I won't be returning here.
Outstanding meal and experience. Highly recommendable
Excellent. Delish. Not our first time - never disappoints.
The staff here is exceptionally nice and understanding. The food is really good. I plan to come back.
Our waiter was surly at best. Second issue, much bigger issue, was I had a hair in my meal. So they replaced the meal and didn't charge me. But the damage was already done. I didn't have anymore appetite. Wondering why they don't wear hairnets firstly. And secondly, why would the waiter act this way? Not impressed.
We enjoyed our meal. Had the sausage app, chicken piccata and meat ravioli. Good place right around MSG. Will be back.
Excellent food service and atmosphere. A little close and loud but didn’t distract from an excellent meal!
Everything was fantastic from the greeting to the end!!!!!
Nice quiet lunch atmosphere. Really love the pastas and salads here. Have gone for years, but never for lunch. Wish there were a few sandwich or lighter options, as it's the same as the dinner menu. Server was great, very hospitable.
on our visit to NYC, I wanted to bring my family to an intimate NYC Italian restaurant. Biricchino's was the perfect place. Mathew, our waiter, took very good care of us, the food and wine was outstanding. It was exactly what we were looking for.
We eat here before going to Madison Square Garden, so this was a good choice to meet my sister and brother in law for dinner with my wife. It’s a two minute walk from Penn Station, and has good Italian food and a good menu at fair prices.
Nice, cute place to have a casual dinner with friends.
From the family that has owned Salumeria Biellese in NY for the past 90+ years, this unpretentious spot with minimal design, brick trim and kind of uncomfortable chairs at tables without tablecloths serves great house-made sausages and salumi as well as a nice selection of salads, pasta and entrees at reasonable prices. Friendly service and a short but serviceable wine list add to the experience. Highly recommended!
To start, we ordered the charcuterie board with cheese and it was amazing. We also had the butternut squash ravioli as an appetizer... delicious! The braised short rib with polenta and the grilled octopus were extraordinary. The chicken piccata was average. The service was exceptional.
Good food at a reasonable price. Noise level did not interfere with being able to have a conversation. waiter was very attentive.
Very small restaurant. Tables are very close together.
Disappointed that the beet salad were not fresh roasted beets, dressing had no flavor, not even sure there was any. Meat ravioli meat had the consistency of tuna out of a can and strange tasting. Chicken piccata was good. Dessert- Affagato, very stingy with the gelato, a tiny scoop, the gelato was delicious just not much to enjoy. But the Gelato and fruit dessert had at least 2 scoops. Altogether not terrible, but I won't go back, too many other places to pick from.
Great food, excellent service, fair price, but just too loud.
An excellent choice for an MSG pre show dinner. A five minute walk to the 8th Street entrance of The Garden. The food was excellent and our server was very pleasant. The service was great. The Beet Salad was good. My Chicken Picata was excellent and my husband raved about his Penne Putanesca.
Good service great food m. I love the rustic brick interior. It gets busy during MSG events and they have a strict reservations only policy in those days. So do reserve a table to avoid eating at the bar.
Came in late for reservation and soaked from rainstorm. They were gracious and welcoming. Food and service was wonderful. Really improved our evening. Thank you!
Excellent food, drinks, service and ambiance!! Definitely going back.
Picked this one for location 2 blocks from Madison Square Garden where we were going to a concert. Small place with good food. We were early and it was not crowded. Service was just OK. They didn't appear happy that we were there but they warmed up to us as the meal progressed. Excellent food.
Rigatoni and Chicken Piccata were both very good. Authentic flavors with fresh ingredients. Service was efficient and professional, albeit not very personable. Would return.
Had dinner here for a show at MSG. Food and service was excellent. Loved the ambiance, although was a little loud. Overall we would go back. A very good experience!
Excellent meat and cheese platter! Mozzarella was out of this world too!
Service was spot on. Watermelon salad , steak and ravioli entree's were excellent and done perfectly. Would def go back.
The food was quite good. Delicious crusty bread, flavorful olive oil. My mozzarella appetizer with basil and tri colored tomatoes was flavorful and melted in my mouth. My pasta bolognese was also tasty with delicious freshly grated parmesan on top. The service was efficient but not overbearing. The server was kind to get the food within a specific time frame since we were attending a concert. The noise level was high however. I would definitely return.
Four differenr entrees, each excellent. Great service. We were very pleased.
It's our go to restaurant as we live a block away
Always good food, & Service
Wonderful sausages, salads, & entre's
Check it out you won't be disappointed
WOW! The best manicotti and gnocchi EVER!!!!! I would highly recommend coming to Biricchino it was the best Italian I have EVER HAD!!!!!!!! 😍😍😍
Biricchino is a wonderful restaurant. It is charming, intimate, and friendly, and the food is delicious. The chef and serving staff are first rate. I highly recommend Biricchino!
Wonderful evening out with my friend. Food was excellent, as were the cocktails. Thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Still talking about it.
Great food in a friendly atmosphere. Good choice if you’re attending an event at Madison Square Garden.
The service and food was excellent! I would recommend.
Chicken francaise was salty.
Did not like Caesar salad dressing
Meat in ravioli tasted like a paste
Bread was good
Biricchino is a bustling place in a no mans land for restaurants. It is not far from Penn Station. Food is dependable Italian w no frills . Tasty and good. I had an eccentric friend w me so the intimacy of the tables did me [or the neighboring tables] any favors. Server was terrific.
