Great atmosphere, service is very rushed. Not a place to have a quiet dinner for two. Food is good. Little over priced for the quality of food. Drinks are good and priced well. A fun dinner overall.

The most tender chicken I've ever had!!! The food was so perfectly cooked that it was actually remarkable, literally, we all commented on it. The service was great, the booth was a cosy place to sit, which made the experience private and yet not sterile. We would definitely recommend this place.

Reasonably priced Yaki tori modern Japanese restaurant. Nice selection of Japanese drinks and an opportunity to enjoy a sake tasting selection of 4 sakes. The sakes were nice, however a little small on the serving size and I always like to have a printed menu of the sakes to remind me of what I am having. This way I can always find a bottle of preferred sake online from one of the online shops now available in Australia. In saying that the staff did give a fair description of the sake as it was being served. The decor was modern and if you are looking for a smoky izakaya like yakitori bar similar to what you may have experienced in Japan this will not meet your expectations. We sat at a bench during our experience to watch the staff working over the grill as I also like to make my own yakitori at home.

We have diner at multiple birds nest many times and have always walked away satisfied. Whilst a pricier option for a family dinner, we have yet to eat a bad meal or be unhappy. With a coeliac family member, it’s nice to be able to eat a range of dishes that are enjoyable for everyone. Birds nest is a firm family favourite.

Loved our night here. The staff were so accomodating and gave us a booth so we could have a little privacy for a romantic night. The food was great. The atmosphere was perfect for a cosy dinner out, and the service was outstanding! Definitely recommend.
