Service and atmosphere are great! Food is good, nothing too exciting but taste is good!
Love the deck with the heaters and bonfires. Love the employees as well!
Bday yyyyyyyyyyyyuuuuuuuuuuuuummmmmmmmmmm
We were sat on time and the staff was very attentive.
Too many people. Definately well above 50% capacity. Food was excellent. Won't go back until coronavirus is subsided. Being it was the last night before the shutdown they were out of many of the menu choices.
always amazing, phenomenal service, love the turkey burger
My husband and I both always get sick after eating here.
The evening was excellent at Birch’s! Great service! Great food !!
We love this cozy supper club - perfect for a night away from the kids, impromptu date night Sunday...fireplace burning, snuggled into a curved booth. But it was too quiet! I appreciate folks being very careful and applaud staying home to protect us all, but it's important to support local businesses and Birch's is doing it right. All staff masked and being very careful, customers well-spaced. We felt very safe and I recommend that if you venture out, you will feel comfortable at Birch's.
Great cocktails, good wine, solid food as always...get there and support it with your cohort!
Great for our annivery
Very nice for special dinner. Excellent food and wonderful service. Beer brewed on the premises was an added value. Slightly overpriced, but great experience.
Went to Birch’s on the Lake for brunch. Ordered oysters, lobster roll, and lobster scramble, along with the specialty bloody mary’s. Great dining experience overall. No complaints.
A great atmosphere! The service and hospitality of the place is amazing. It is nice to have a choice for a classy night out or I relax night with friends in the basement. We couldn’t have had a better evening.
Setting is nice overlooking a lake. Acknowledged our Anniversary with discount on next visit and ice cream. Did not order off full mean menu, may have been happier with our meal if we had. Ordered the truffle mushroom flatbread. It was good but rich and oily. Had walleye tacos. Fair only. Did not have a lot of taste, fried walleye. Guest had the Barbeque Beef Tacos, too spicy for him (made with Kimchee). Ordered side green salad, decent.
I sat on the deck with my family. The music was too loud. The waitress did not bring the things we asked for until asking a second time on 2 occasions. Others who came after us were served and recieved their items before us. When needing something, the wait staff lowered their eyes while walking by seeming as to not want us/patrons to ask them for anything. Also three of us ordered the wallaye tacos and there were only two on the plate. It was not enough to satisfy and those three left the establishment still hungry. On a more positive note, the atmosphere was lovely and so was the view. The food came out quickly and when speaking with the staff they were decently courteous.
Birch burger is my favorite
Noisy. Nice menu, good food quality but very overpriced.
Stone Crabs...I’ll be there often..!!!!
Lovely table on the glass by the bar. Food was great. Good time was had by all.
Terrible on social distancing! We were appalled at the crowded bar..people were actually standing in the aisle almost leaning over us at out table at the window. VERY disappointed and we go (or did) there all the time!
Service as slow, but good. Food didn't come out hot after a long wait.
Always a nice experience at Birch’s. Lovely view of the lake, good craft beer and cocktails, and very nice food.
We went for Sunday breakfast and it was very quiet and the view over the lake was perfect. The food was great. Our server was very personable and attentive. Would recommend the magnum Bloody Mary. We had the corned beef hash and walleye Benedict. Both were delicious. The menu looked very good and we will be back.
We had the best server. He made the experience so much better, was spot on about his food recommendations, and had us try some great beers we plan to buy to go next time. 100% coming back.
We went here for our anniversary and it’s completely not worth the price. Service could have been a lot friendlier. Would never recommend this place to anyone.
Family came into town and we decided to try a new place. The atmosphere was great and so was the service. Food was good and we will definitely be back
We had the most amazing meal, beautiful view by the window and excellent service. We will definitely be back!
Katie, our waitress, did a great job taking care of us, as did all the wait personnel. Loved the ambience of a lakeside restaurant.
Good Service, Good Food, Wonderful view of the lake.
We had a reservation for 4 at 8pm & had to wait which was a little disappointing. A passing waitress offered us the high top in her section & we loved her! Our only concern was that you looked at 100% capacity (not 50%), with tables seemingly spaced the same as pre-Covid, so glad we were sitting on another level away from the full restaurant. Otherwise we love it there every time. Thanks!
Food was mediocre, walleye cakes didn’t have much flavor and was dry. Tasted like a fried ball of breading. Would have ordered the scallops but they were out. Got the herb crusted walleye instead which was also bland.
Sadly, the restaurant has gone downhill over the years. The entrees were expensive for what you get and the food was nothing special.
The view is always spectacular. If you go, we recommend ordering a burger or sandwich instead of an entree.
Two of us in the group had the Herb Crusted Walleye. It had no flavor. The green beans were not cooked and cold. The Seared Diver Sea Scallops were barely warm. Disappointing for the price of the dishes. We did have the Almond Joy Tres Leches Cake since we were celebrating a birthday and that was very good. The ambience and service were good.
Beautiful afternoon on the deck. Food was great as always!
Great atmosphere, great food . Beautiful restaurant.
We would have preferred to be outside but that was full on such a nice day. We had a reservation and sat indoors, which was OK. I did feel that some seating was a little too close.
Sat on the deck and enjoyed the view, tasty good and attentive service
Wonderful food, diverse menu, beautiful view. Loved the atmosphere!
A great place to eat with so much variety and a beautiful lake view. One of our favorites!
We ate lunch in the bar & our server was very friendly & attentive.
The Octoberfest menu was delicious!!!
Thank You we will be back!!
