Delicious food, good wine list and great service. Small, quiet dining room.

Bill and Mary were fantastic hosts and Marissa was an absolute pleasure behind the bar. Great spot for a group of two or four to quiet things down for a little in killington. Food was great. Music and service fantastic.

Outstanding fried oyster salad, porterhouse pork chop with
puréed root vegetables, elk meatball, scallop stew, panacotta dessert. Quiet atmosphere and exceptional service on New Year’s Day evening.

The server had no personality. I told her my good came to me lukewarm and she didn't even offer to heat it up. For the prices they charge for their entrees their service should be e
xceptional.

Food was excellent. Innkeeper Bill = Superman. Decor is out of date and needs to be updated. Maybe tables and chairs can be a dark wood color? Currently, decor is Amish like.

Fantastic meal and service!

This is the second time that we have eaten at the Birch Ridge Inn before a Spartan Race. The chef is extremely accommodating and the cuisine is always excellent.

Owner is a great host. He suggested the Gazpacho soup which was outstanding. T-Bone steak was as good as it gets. My first choice in Killington

Lovely, relaxed, solidly good. Pork was a standout. Desserts good too. We’d go back!

Valentine’s Day - this inn was amazing

Food was delicious. Salads were very generous portions but the main corses were pretty small. Dessert was excellent average portions.

The ambiance was quaint. There was a giant Christmas tree, cookies at the entrance, and a nice fireplace in the bar/living room area of the hotel. Bill and Mary and the waiter were super friendly, welcoming, and warm. The lamb lollipops were not that flavorful. I was expecting a lot of seasoning, and or garlic/or an herb it was very plain with an equally plain purée underneath. You get 2 for $18. I prefer the lamp chops with more seasoning. The duck entree was nice. It had a crispy outside and the meat was flavorful and pretty tender. The asparagus were cooked well, not mushy, and they too tasted good. Most entrees come with rice which had a nice flavor but I found them kinda cold and a little hard. I would have preferred a nice potato with the duck. The portion of the lamb and duck were on the small side. The Vermont cheese plate was delicious with a rich goat cheese, a blue, a what seemed like a cheddar and something else much more mild. The crostini’s were very crunchy and flavorful. It was good but for the price I was expecting more.

We loved the relaxing bar / living room atmosphere. The Christmas tree on display was absolutely beautiful. Dining was a very quiet comfort seating with 8 tables, (7) 4-top and (1) 6-top. While we loved the setting, some may find the A-Frame style roof in the room confining. I found it wonderful. The owners greeted us, spent time with us in the bar, showed us the hotel, and meet with us again afterwards. They have a truly lovely place. If we had known the atmosphere was so relaxing, we would have arrived much early to relax with more than one drink before dinner.

We wanted to try a new restaurant in the Killington Vermont area and saw Birch Ridge on the Opentable list so we decided to try it. I enjoyed everything from the cold duck appetizer to the salmon entree. The chairs were comfortable and the service was very attentive. Two big plusses! I saw they have nice bar with a fireplace when we were leaving. Next time plan on going in for before or after dinner drinks.

my friend ordered her steak rare and it came to the table medium well done. They did replace it when asked.
my duck was tough and the skin was not crispy, veggies served with it were tepid at best. The homemade rolls were excellent, but overall, the food was a bit disappointing

Excellent food and service. We were slightly - 5 min - early so went to the bar & ordered drinks. Sat & chatted with the owner/manager for awhile and then escorted to the dining room. Lovely ambience. An interesting menu. My son had the beef tenderlion with brocolini and sweet potato puree; I had the 3 cheese ravaoli, the pasta for which was made in house. Both dinners were excellent! Ordered deserts - again, my son's was excellent, my cream brulee was, for my tastes, too sweet. Had a lovely red wine with dinner. All in all, a very good experience and we shall certainly go back when next we're in Killington.

We celebrated the accomplishment of completion of the Spartan Beast race by our son. It was a great place to be pampered, while enjoying delicious chef creations!

While I have been visiting Killington area for 30+ years I found Birch Lansing through a search on Open Table. The owners, Bill and Mary were welcoming and enjoyable to chat with before dinner. Drinks were excellent and both our dinners were a 10! Our waitress, Marisa, was an added bonus with a great personality! Definitely will return.

What a lovely experience! It was a quiet night and birch ridge inn blew our expectations. It’s a very quaint restaurant. The service was outstanding- very professional and friendly. We had shared the mussels, Lolipop trio,charcuterie, spinach salad. All of which were amazing. The siracha mussels were so good- I could of drank the broth by its self. For entrees I had the veal chop- so tasty. Definitely, I must stop for a special night.

Delicious dinner for two. The rabbit was particularly good. Attentive but discrete service made for a very pleasant evening in this Swiss style inn

Great staff, very welcoming. Unique experience in Killington. The true (and only?) fine dining option in town.

Food is OK, nothing to rave about. Duck breast was awesome, lamb loin chops not so much. I asked for medium rare, one was very close to rear, the other one was medium. It seemed like the 2 chops were not cooked at the same time, quite possibly one of them might have been reheated. And charging $40 for 2 chops, a few asparagus spears and some potatoes seems a little too much. I did not taste any cheese in their crab and cheese fritters. The plate of 2 fritters the size of a golf ball and a bunch of arugula (not dressed in any way) will set you back $18. Way too much money for very mediocre food.

We were inKillington for a quick ski trip. Found this restaurant on trip advisor. Excellent food. Great service. Mary the bartender mixed delicious cocktails and had some great advice for skiing the mountain!

A truly amazing experience.
Unobtrusive service, creative and well executed dishes with a home-feel environment especially when the owners themselves greet and check your coat in.

We had a delicious and lovely dinner. The service and attention was excellent. Highly recommend for a special dinner.
