    Talented chef at the Birch! Our party of 4 enjoyed 4 small plates and 4 mains with every plate having exquisite flavors that were cooked to perfection. We left putting this experience at the top of our list in Milwaukee. Great mixologist on staff as we enjoyed some creative and refreshing mixed cocktails. We will go again.

    Beef Carpaccio and Farm Vegetable starters were perfect mix of fresh and unique combination of flavors. The brick chicken was crisp on the outside with a tender and moist inside while the beef flat iron steak was perfectly done. 11:10 experience. We fell in love with the pickled ramp gin martini as well. Dessert was a lemon curd and strawberry rhubarb ice which was the perfect ending to a perfect meal. We sat at the bar and had a lovely time with the bartenders.

    Trout curdo always on point. Excellent. Focaccia was too big, not enough eggplant and ricotta was ok. We would have preferred an assembled dish. Squash was lovely. Pastas were great, and they always are. Fantastic dinner. Thank you so much

    Most people work from the small plates down, but don’t forget about the mains, they are always delicious. The walleye right now is spectacular and the shrimp is new on the menu and a must. Chef Kyle and his team continue to rise to the occasion.

    Everything was wonderful! It was a bit noisy outside because there was a carpet cleaning truck working from outside on an apartment. Obviously that is not within their control.

    I had first tried Birch, way back when it was "Birch and Butcher" loved it then, and had heard that there was a new chef/owner and it too had received wonderful reviews. The reviews were spot on. I was dining solo, so I opted for a bar spot, but I think the counter seating would be the most fun. Anyhow, I opted for the beef carpaccio and ramp and ricotta ravioli with asparagus and hazelnuts. Both were divine. I also enjoyed two nice cocktails. I feel the prices were fair for the quality of the food, as well as due to inflation, supply chain issues etc.

    Had Chef's choice for our Anniversary. Excellent food and experience (although no mention of anniversary). Long lulls between dishes and no paired wines, but good was absolutely breathtaking- thank you Chef!

    The food here just keeps getting better. The many seasonal flavors are light, complex, and unique. The focaccia and ricotta are a must order. We are regulars and will keep coming back.

    I continue to be amazed by the food and service at Birch. Each visit, I have something that I think is one of the best things I have eaten. Then the next visit, I am amazed with something delicious again. At the risk of me not being able to get a table in future, Saturday brunch is a great time for a visit. Dinners are extraordinary, but as was proven on this visit, again, we had one of the best brunch meals in our lives. Great food while not leaving bloated. If you love great food, you owe it to yourself to eat here

    We originally planned to sit outside, but it was a little chilly. They were very accommodating and got us a table inside immediately. Highly recommend the asparagus with lemon balm.

    Went for Sunday brunch. Excellent cocktails. Ordered menu item I wouldn't normally order (grilled avocado/smoked walleye) & was blown away. Perfect amount. Loved every bite!!! My friend got the polenta/braised pork which she loved. Second great experience at Birch!

    Came here in Feb for Valentines day and then came back in June for a birthday. Food was great as expected. Not as much rotation in the menu from season to season as I would have thought. We will definitely be back.
