Overall experience was very good. Dining at the kitchen counter and watching the hustle and attention to detail the kitchen put into the food was a treat. The staff was extremely friendly, and accommodating.
We ordered the skirt steak and 1/2 chicken. Both outstanding in flavor and presentation. The skirt steak was a bit chewy. next time we will order it medium instead of medium rare. Ribeye is on our list next time. we had a wonderful bottle of an Anderson Valley Pinot Noir. reasonably priced. We definitely will be back for more!

Are dinners were great! Good size portions of quality food! The wood fired grill was unique, and provided excellent flavor.

This is my 4th dinner at B&B in 6 months. The service staff are exceptionally knowledgable, warm and friendly. The food is consistently delicious. But the best part is that the ambiance is low key, comfortable and an easy place to have both an intimate conversation with a partner or a more energetic meal with a large group of friends. This is my go to place to bring family from out of town because I trust we will have a great all around experience.

Everything was fine. Staff seemed a little bothered by our late reservation time, 8:30 on a Saturday night!

Food was amazing! We sat at the counter and it was fun to watch the food being prepared.

My husband and I have eaten at Birch and Butcher a few times now, but our experience dining there this past weekend with friends was our least favorite. The service on Saturday night was VERY slow even though we arrived before most of the tables around us were full, and that included our drinks coming slowly and our food coming long after tables near us (who were seated later) had been served. As for the food, three of our four meals (two half chickens and one pork tenderloin) were overcooked to the point of being blackened, and mine (the pork tenderloin) was also very dry. To cap it off, we all left with our clothing smelling of grease and smoke. It was disappointing because this was our friends' first time there and they were underwhelmed, and my husband and I expected a similar experience as we've had in the past when we loved B + B. We'll go back, but will be hoping our future experiences are back to being outstanding.

Had a delicious meal. Loved the meatballs and polenta! Skirt steak was savory and large portions. Carrots and chicken also were terrific. Great server who helped us choose.

This was a nice evening out for us and some friends. It was awesome food and a great atmosphere. I loved the skirt steak.

Fantastic food. Great service. One of the best dinners we've had in a long time!

Everything was great. Though I would suggest ordering the 40 day dry age ribeye Rare and not what they suggest at medium rare. Mine came out at Medium-Medium well

3 of us had brunch, celebrating our daughters birthday. We started off with in house made Bloody Mary's (they make their own mix as well as Worcestershire). Each of us had something different, pork over polenta, whitefish on a bagel and a full breakfast (the potatoes were delicious). We were also given a warm cinnamon roll with lots of gooey frosting. Our waitress was very attentive (wish I could remember her name). I highly recommend but make a reservation.

It was a busy Saturday night. Nonetheless the server often unseen for long periods of time. Didn’t care for the beer menu.

Having said the entrees were very good.

The ambience is modern and friendly. Attentive service, and everything was delicious ! Best dish of the night was the shirt steak - fantastic flavors ! A great night out !

Birch and Butcher is a rather fun location. Everything seems to be hand made right in the restaurant which is an impressive feat! A love of a unique taste and creative palate are required in order to fully appreciate the food. I had a good time and hope to come again!

Food was interesting and very good. Portions were a good size. Service was very friendly. The restaurant had a charred smell that was very noticeable.

I loved my food which was the pork shoulder w/mushrooms and poached eggs w/ Hollandaise.
But my two mates had the scrambled eggs which they said were dry & the sausage they got was a bit funky tasting. The bacon was good but we’d prefer something that wasn’t so sweet. Just good Smokey bacon.

The thing that made us not want to come back though was the server who was pretty inattentive. We had to search her out for more coffee and my friends Virgin Mary took forever and it wasn’t packed.

It was amazing. My friends and I went there for a bachelorette brunch and it was great service. Our waiter was so sweet and nice to us. We really enjoyed ourselves.

Outstanding cuisine and service....what took us so long to try this fine restaurant?

I brought two friends and they enjoyed the evening. We each had a different entree so we could share. Steve, the manager was delightful as well as our waitress.

Birch & Butcher is our first choice after catching a movie or theater, very consistent and always enjoyable.

Our first time to Birch and Butcher! The people in front of us made their reservation for 5 for the wrong day but the hostess still fit them in—I found that very kind right off the bat. My girlfriend loved her steak and eggs. I got the biscuits and gravy which was good but I probably wouldn’t order it again because the biscuit was pretty dry and I had to drench it in gravy. I look forward to going back and trying the avocado toast.

Friendly service but some things took too long - there was a confusion on one of the wines we ordered so waitress took it back and took another 10 mins to cone back with the correct one. We ordered a kale salad as an entree and that was the last item to come out so we had to wait a few
More minutes for that item. The sound in the space is very live so very loud. All items we ordered were delicious. However, I ordered the ribeye as medium rare but it came more as medium to med well. It was very lean. Still very tender so I didn’t send it back. The glaze/sauce on the steak was full of umami and yummy. Ordered the carrot cake for dessert - dense and not overly sweet with just the right amount of frosting. Would come back again.

We had reservations on a Tuesday night and the restaurant was not crowded (there was a Bucks game and a presidential visit mucking up the area). Service was friendly and informative but not intrusive. Cocktails were delicious and very fresh. The by the glass wine selection is small but well chosen. The beef carpaccio was maybe a little heavily sauced but the quality of the meat was on point. Between us we had the pork tenderloin, skirt steak and one of the fish selections. All were prepared to perfection. The polenta with bacon jam that came with the pork tenderloin is the stuff that dreams are made of. We also enjoyed the bbq parnsips. Nice amount of heat tempered with a delicious yogurt sauce. Sitting at the counter is a must so you can watch the food being prepared. We will definitely be back and look forward to trying their brunch menu on the weekend at some point.

Brought my friends to thank them for watching my dog for a week . They loved it and are now going to bring their friends there to celebrate a birthday!

The food is amazing, and we'd gladly go back. I'd recommend it without hesitation.

Bring back the happy hour burger! My wife and I were craving the happy hour burger, but found that it is now only offered during weekend brunch. Thankfully, the menu is full of great options. The food and drinks were all delicious. The kitchen can coax amazing flavors out of every ingredient. The cocktails were delicious and creative. Definitely recommend the Bibb salad. Despite its ordinary sounding name, it’s satisfying, refreshing and full of complex flavors.

Our family enjoyed a great meal with superb service before the Bucks game Saturday night. Our server, Heidi, was super friendly, knowledgeable and efficiently got us on our way in time for tip-off. Her recommendations and explanations were extremely helpful.
Everything starting with the cocktails, beer, & soda through the starters and entrees were a hit with our foodie family. We enjoyed the breads, meatballs with grits & fondue, beet salad as starters- all excellent! The herb pappardelle with pork ragu was exceptional- (our favorite) The whole grilled chicken with bbq carrots was amazing and the trout & broccoli rounded out our feast.
It was a great “shared dining”experience.
