Bindaas is an Indian restaurant in the Cleveland Park area of Washington, D.C. Unique art pieces are painted around the walls of the restaurant while woven basket chandeliers hang from the row of lights on the ceiling. All of this together with the colorful red chairs and tables creates a dramatic scene for dinner that's pleasantly energetic. A long TV over the bar plays Bollywood movies throughout the evening to entertain guests enjoying a drink or two.
The Indian cuisine served at Bindaas is savory, rich and aromatic. Some of the popular street foods served in India are available on the menu, including kebabs, buns or wraps, rice pancakes and naan bread. Try the parsi lamb cutlet, chicken kathi roll, machalee (fish of the day) or the vegetable kebab served at Bindaas.
