What a wonderful evening! The food and service were excellent! The outdoor dining space was charming and comfortable. We can’t wait to return!
How many times can I review this restaurant? We eat here at least once a week. The food… fabulous. The service…fabulous. Ambiance.… yeah, you guessed it… fabulous. Dine here. Period. Life is short. Done here. Drink here.
Wonderful experience, service was amazing and food/drinks were awesome!
Bin5 still going strong. Always have interesting, seasonal specials and while many restaurants have been cutting corners with their ingredients and crappy alcohol after COVID, Bin5 still using fresh, quality ingredients in all of their dishes. And when you ask for a Don Julio there's no doubt you're getting Don Julio!! Even some new desserts, which were awesome.
Great to see that they continue to care about their food, customers and the experience. If you're going to spend money make it worth it !
This was our second time to Bin 5. Although we want to really love the place, it’s just an average experience. We sat down at 8pm and yet our entree’s didn’t arrive until 9:15pm. Our apps, which came out relatively quickly, were just ok. Crab cakes were good but nothing I couldn’t make at home. The entree’s took way to long to get to the table. We sat for easily 30-35 mins after having our apps cleared with no food on the table. When the food arrived it was just average. Shrimp Scampi with zucchini noodles was good but nothing special. 1/2 chicken with mashed potatoes and carrots, simple dish but tasty. Lobster roll/sandwich was a disappointment. Lobster was none existent in the sandwich but the French fries were good. The only real positive of the evening was the cannoli donut( which was excellent the first time we had at it as well). Overall, the staff is very nice, I don’t think I can blame them for the loooonnngg wait time for food but when you take in to account the price of the food, we will not be going back. We love to cook ourselves as well as experience different restaurants and nothing we have had in both experiences is worth the price tag and the wait. The restaurant has a great atmosphere and the cocktails are delicious, but the food quality just doesn’t match the price.
We ordered the porterhouse steak for two and the whole meal was phenomenal. I would recommend getting a smaller appetizer if you really want. The porterhouse meal is so big we had to take some home.
We loved how quiet and romantic tHe restaurant was. The entire staff was extremely attentive and kind. The food was phenomenal as were the drinks. Definitely recommend and will return. Outside was just as nice as inside.
delicious food, amazing cocktails. beautiful ambiance.
Been there 4 times, always had steak for 2. Comes with 4 sides so value is there. Apps and alcohol pricey but worth the night out.
This was our first time at Bin5. Danny, the owner made our experience very pleasant! The food is absolutely delicious, it's fresh and the recipes are very tasty. Highly recommend the Gold Rush if you like bourbon and ginger-delicious!! Definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back.
Everything was excellent, food and service. On the expensive side, but worth it. Will leave home 2 adult children next time!
My party of 4 sat on the outside patio. Staff was pleasant, but initial service was slow. We ordered 4 cocktails and it seemed like it took forever for them to arrive. They WERE worth the wait though - tasted terrific! Service picked up and our appetizers, dinner and wine came shortly after we finished there cocktails. Four different dinner choices, ALL were excellent and large portions. A little bit pricey, but worth it for the quality of the good and drinks. Would definitely recommend and go back again.
A little gem hidden on Staten Island. Service was excellent! Gino helped us pick a great bottle of wine- and the specialty cocktails were amazing! Foot was delicious- the red snapper was cooked to perfection. Would definitely come back!
The staff and the food were excellent. Highly recommend!
Always a memorable meal served. The wine list is extensive and varied with many interesting choices to explore. There are always many excellent choices available. The red snapper special was wonderful, coupled with an apple, walnut and cranberry salad. My “go-to” location for fine dining in Staten Island.
Brought our dear friends from New Orleans to experience our favorite NYC restaurant. Being from one of the top culinary destinations in the world, they’re not easily impressed, but they raved about Bin 5. This place never disappoints!
The appetizers were very good. Mozzarella carroza was fresh and delicious. Apple pecan salad was excellent. However, the shrimp scampi with risotto was disappointing. The shrimp was good but the risotto was like rice. Overall it was good but not as good as I was expecting. I will try again though.
Everything was perfect.
Love that restaurant, great food, great drinks, always an amazing time!
The meal was not up to the usual standards for this restaurant. Maybe they are having trouble getting back to full crowds.
Cute restaurant, delicious food, good service but a small space with the bar on one side and the kitchen on the other, at full capacity, conversation was very difficult.
Excellent cocktails, great service and friendly staff. Casual atmosphere. We did not feel rushed at all and were thoroughly satisfied with the meals we ordered. The figs stuffed with goat cheese and wrapped in prosciutto appetizer were delicious and my favorite. The seafood risotto had plenty of seafood and the stuffed chicken breast special was juicy and flavorful. Overall a great meal and great evening out. Glad they made it through the pandemic!
Bin5 never disappoints! Fabulous craft cocktails and delicious food, fantastic from start to finish!!
As always the food and service were outstanding!!
A terrific, eclectic menu and a cozy atmosphere. The food is delicious and dietary needs are lovingly catered to. The service is just right, attentive but not overbearing. This is a family owned and run establishment that truly cares about your having a great experience. Cannot give it a high enough recommendation. Go there, you won't be disappointed.
Small, attractive, old-school restaurant on Bay Street. The kind of place where you can feel a traditional vibe but experience contemporary cuisine. Small staff, so be patient and don't be in a hurry to have dinner. The food is well worth the wait.
As always they treat you like family!
Close family that you love and want to be around…
Service is amazing food on point couldn’t ask for more !
Great food, fantastic drinks and great vibe. Nice to able to dine outside, too.
Delicious! Drinks were so yummy. Food was amazing. I have gluten allergies and they accommodated me. The muscles were so good! And my shrimp tacos were tasty! Thanks
Always a solid choice! Great menu, friendly service, one of our top choices for a nice night out!
Bin 5 is my favorite restaurant. A gem in Staten Island. The food and drinks are amazing!! You have to try an Old Fashion...
My daughters birthday
The food continues to be excellent, and in great variety. Nominally an Italian restaurant, the flavors of Asia and Latin America also make their presence known. The approach to social distance, the simple use of well placed shoji screens, is elegant.
The staff at Bin 5 are beyond exceptional! They are kind, accommodating and very friendly. We are very covid conscious, finding it difficult to dine out in Staten Island and the staff here were absolutely lovely to us! Every staff member went out of their way to make us feel comfortable and safe while dining in their adorable outdoor 'garden'. Not to mention the food is the best you will find!
Beautiful place food was very good love the drinks but a little expensive
We kept hearing good things about Bin 5 so we gave it a try. A most amazing experience! Food and drinks were exceptional. The owner, Danny, was cordial and accommodating. Our waitress was excellent and very attentive. So glad we finally made it there. It’s a small place so reservations are recommended. Can’t wait to go back!
Always a fantastic experience. Food and wine are superb, service friendly and attentive, atmosphere is sophisticated but warm.
Mothers Day is not the best day to rate a restaurant. Be that as it may, our reserves for 6:30 were not honored until 6:50. Didnt see a waiter for another 10-15 minutes. Waiter was polite and apologetic. Comped drinks. Calamari was as good as I've ever had. Pasta was undercooked but sauce was fabulous. Main course veg was raw. Food portions were more than ample. Its a cute place, could be cozy. And we will return but not on a holiday. Its pricey at 100 pp incl tip.
