I have never been so simultaneously insulted or embarrassed. I brought a dear friend and big client to try something new. Ordered drinks. My important guest as for a very dry Beefeater’s martini with a twist. Was informed that they don’t carry Beefeaters. Not like that’s some exclusive experience gin. He accepted Hendricks instead. Shortly after placing the drink order, the waitress came back and asked how much extra vermouth my guest wanted. Extra dry requires the tiniest amount if any vermouth. We explained that. When the drink arrived the amount of alcohol filled 1/3 of the glass. The small part of the glass. We asked for the manager and asked if he thought this minuscule drink constituted a proper full martini. He responded with a stupid dumbfounded look on his face is if to suggest “what’s the problem”. We suggested that was a completely inappropriate drink and informed him of the inexperience of the waitress regarding what a very dry martini was. He could not have cared less. Will never go back. Total joke. Total insult. Total embarrassment for me as I was trying to show my client a nice evening. Went to Ruth’s Chris. Received a Beefeaters martini and it actually filled the glass. A miracle. Finally the restaurant had a strong sewer smell. I asked the hostess about it and she acknowledged the stink and said that they’d been spraying deodorizer all day. That should have been my first clue to run for the exit. I am calling the health department in the morning. Y’all messed with the wrong patron. John Rosenthal.

Bin 23 was decorated so festively for Christmas. The was really good. We were blown away by the food. Our server was attentive but gave us plenty of space to catch up with each other. It was great experience!!! I can't wait to go back.

Unfortunately they had issues tonight, unlike previous times we’ve been there. Our waitress was either new or just unqualified. Our $20 salad was to easily feed two per her recommendation but was disappointingly small and quite overpriced. My cocktail with lemon, red wine and bourbon was sad. I could only taste wine and no bourbon. The short ribs and seafood stew were excellent, but took over an hour to come out. We were charged for a appetizer we did not order. Mitch the manager came by several times to iron things out and was very thoughtful. He comped the main dishes on our tab. Not sure why they were off their game last night. Hope they get it worked out.

We ate at Bin 23 for a birthday dinner. The service was prompt and friendly at all levels. The restaurant was quiet enough to easily have a conversation. The food was amazing - everything we were served was delicious and unique.

Paul provided exceptional service while training Peyton which she demonstrated that she will be an excellent server once released from training. Food was phenomenal as usual French onion, soup, and short rib and we will be returning again soon.

Food was delicious as always. Cesar salad and Short Rib Bourguignon best I have ever had. Our server Lacey was phenomenal. Very friendly and welcoming.. she went above, and beyond to make sure our service was flawless. This restaurant is always well organized and managed with great attention to detail. The ambience is a whole vibe on its own and very relaxing as this is why I continue to dine here.. hands-down, best restaurant in Granger Indiana.

In a nearly empty restaurant we had to wait and wait to place our order. The waitress was kind while at our table but disappeared for absurd lengths of time. It took twenty minutes to place our drink order and that long to receive some of them including water. The mixed drinks took so long some at our table forgot what they ordered. We had to ask for our salads after we ordered 30 minutes prior which were served literally a minute before our meals. Those who ordered pizza were generally happy with their food but the rest of the meals were awful. The salmon as well was the ribs were so burnt they were black. And to make it worse, we were told that is how they are prepared. My wife is a pastry chef and has been associated with fine restaurants from here to Chicago and was so disappointed she agreed we’d never come back. I suggest to anyone dining there to bring their own water and tea because those are never refilled. We had to literally go up to the bar and ask for more.

Great experience treating SIL to early birthday and pregame Notre Dame dinner. Wasn’t sure if South Bend and surrounding area had anything this nice, but the food was incredible. We typically spend 2-3x for a restaurant of this caliber in Miami. The wine list was good as well, quality wines for reasonable prices, not Trader Joe’s wines.

We took a visitor out to dinner at Bin23 last night. It was a pleasant meal, good quiet atmosphere to talk. The food was also good, but a bit expensive. Luckily we were on an expense account!

Service was horrendously slow. Tried to be understanding as they were clearly understaffed and had a lot of last minute reservations. It would be easier to understand if we received some sort of explanation or communication as to what was going on or where our server was. Sat for at least 30-45 min before we got a water and a drink order, and at least an hour before we ordered food. Food was lukewarm and scorched on the outside. Second round of drinks didn’t come until we were done eating. But there was no acknowledgment of, or apology for, these delays. Generally just left a bad taste in my mouth.

Nice atmosphere but HORRIBLE service. Went for Sunday brunch. Waited for 10 minutes to get water glasses filled. Waited half hour to get coffee ordered and then only received 1 coffee, and no cappuccinos. We then waited even longer to place our order. For breakfast food you have many choices that are far less expensive. You go to a place like this for a nice experience and service. Our visit to Bin 23 took away from our family time together since we spent most of our time trying to chase down staff to get anything. Hire more servers and ensure they're trained before expecting customers to deal.

Outstanding food but worst service I have ever experienced. It took a long time for the waitress to come to take orders. Beverages took a long time to arrive. Refills were not provided quickly after they said they would be provided. Food took even longer. And almost no one was there so they weren’t busy with other tables. We were speculating that perhaps they had opened without the chef there. No explanation was provided. Needs work on service. A lot of work.

This was the second time I’ve been here where the service quality was abysmal. Took about ten minutes for our table to get acknowledged and and hour and a half after being seated to receive our entrees. The waitress didn’t seem to recognize just how long everything had taken and, though she was quite pleasant, never apologized for the wait. The food, however, was very good. It’s quite unfortunate as the quality of the food is quite respectable, but I don’t think it will outweigh the quality of the service for us again.

I met a friend whom I had not seen in a very long time. We had a delightful lunch there and the food and service were OUTSTANDING! Our waitress, Emma, was perfect! Attentive but not disruptive and very professional! We were allowed to stay and talk for 4 hours and never once felt like we were a bother or troublesome. It made our “reunion” so wonderful and we will definitely meet there again! Thank you, Bin 23!

Amazing hidden gem. Every dish we had was excellent. The service was ok as we had a trainee, but Paul his trainer was wonderful. Came to the table to make sure everything was going well.

What a fantastic restaurant! Clean, fresh, crisp, new, it has everything an upscale restaurant/bistro should have! Service was fantastic ! Wine list satisfies, and drinks concocted correctly! I came for the steak and Frites served entrecôte style. And while the appearance of the sauce is a bit brighter in color, (perhaps they added their own secret ingredient) it’s meets the mark. I’ve been to Paris, New York and Miami for the same style of steak and frites and this restaurant does not disappoint. It lives up to the history of the “ special sauce” that Parisians wait in a line that wraps around the corner to get into their favorite bistro for the same meal. And here it is in Granger/South Bend Indiana.

Wow! The food was delicious! A beautiful restaurant with amazing customer service. Paul went above and beyond to make our experience memorable. He was courteous, professional, and funny! We ordered the Chorizo Shrimp appetizer. It was so good ! The sauce is to die for too! I ordered the Salade Nicoise. It was really really tasty. Loved it. My husband ordered the hamburger. It was cooked to perfection as well. Super juicy and craveable. We will definitely be coming back!
