   BIN 23 is a great special occasion, or in rotation for once a month drinks with friends. Service was outstanding. Food was professional. Need to spread the word to fill it on a Friday, but we liked the fact that it was fairly empty… so maybe shhhhhh 😉

   We have been here three times now. The salmon is excellent but expensive. The chicken doesn't have much flavor. Portions are generous. Have had the Margharita pizza twice and both times the taste was good but it wasn't hot -- barely above room temperature. Disappointing that you can't get chicken or salmon with any of the salads and that they don't offer any side salads, just entree salads. Staff is pleasant and efficient.

   We liked it, first time there but could not get waited on. But GM made it right! Super nice. The only negative was it was way too loud. Too noisy, and there are few places to escape the noise. But the food is wonderful!!

    Salmon was not hot. Beef tips were not as tender as our prior dinner experience. Erica, our server, was fantastic! Don’t decline your food preparation….our first visit was outstanding, hence the second reservation. We will give it another try. The whipped feta appetizer is outstanding!

    An amazing experience. The menu was the perfect balance of options weighed against the idea of doing a few things very well. The food quality was amazing and the preparation was absolutely top notch. I wish it were a little less expensive, but your truly get what you pay for and, for a special occasion, this was worth every penny. I absolutely recommend the muscles. I’m shocked that they were so good given that we were in the Midwest. Ambience is beautiful. If you’ve tried it before and it was a mix menu of French and Italian, try it again.     Visited for Easter Brunch!! This is our new favorite restaurant in South Bend. Fantastic menu with a European flair. Excellent staff accompanied by a great wine selection and knowledge. Can't wait to be back in SB to visit again.

    Our first time here, two vegans and one meat eater. We had a couple of salads which were pretty good and the ratatouille was a nice side touch. The guys appreciated the beer selection. I will be back when I can drink wine! The service was decent, although our server had some trouble with her hand-held ordering device.

    Excellent service and outstanding food! The hostesses greeted us with smiles and attention. One even opened the door for us as we were leaving. Waiter was very personable and knowledgeable about the menu, etc. Our first experience at Bin 23 and it was awesome! We WILL be back! Thank you for a wonderful dinner.

    Apps great. Entrees very very salty. Manager came and asked us how are good was after being served which was good. We said so salty as to be almost inedible. He said “ph must be the red sauce” and left. (Fish stew). He never came back. Our server didn’t show up for 20 min more so we shoveled down a few more bites. How’s everything she asked? Not good way too salty - and I like salt…. She left and returned with the bill. No adjustments no apologies…. We weren’t in the mood to complain any more since it obviously didn’t matter. Great ambience. Terrible meal. Too bad, I leave nearby and would have like a new place to frequent.
