   Old facilities but nice location. Service was okay but didn’t feel kind and nice service. Took over 30 min to turn on the heater at the patio and serving the food was so slow.

   Head Chef Heath has a great menu offering a variety of options. Bar tenders are always professional and attentive. Dereck makes an awesome Strawberry-basil martini! We are repeat customers, always looking for great food and dining experience. Manager is always pleasant and accommodating as well as Rosalba.

   We had a reservation for 6pm, but was in town a little early, we were accommodated and even given our preferred seat, outside overlooking the lake. Our meal was delicious! We shared the burrata salad and chose the chicken with yam and asparagus for me, and prime rib for my husband. Then shared a molten chocolate cake for dessert - it was all well prepared and tasted amazing! Service (Savannah) was great! Very friendly and attentive. We enjoyed every minute and to dine here again on a future trip to lake Arrowhead.

   The food in the buffet was not labeled so you had to open up the lids and guess what it was. The baked items were sitting out in the open and were dried out. The condiments were in packets. They had no alternative diet choices. Nothing seemed like much effort was put into the taste or the presentation. The location overlooking the lake was beautiful!

   The servers where nice and attentive but the food was cold , the guys at the waffle and omelette station where not promptly helped by the food prep crew. No labels on food or pastries ( food allergies ) had to guess what was served. Not organized at all . For the price we paid I was disappointed ☹️. I guess it was their first time offering buffet style food.

   We have been to BIN 189 many times. It is a nice restaurant in a beautiful lakefront setting, but they did not meet our expectations for a Mother's Day brunch. Although they had a fair selection of food options, the quality of food was not good. Mostly "filler-food" like eggs, overly greasy sausage/bacon, cold bagels and rolls, boxed cereal and processed pancakes that looked/tasted like they had previously been frozen. There was a waffle and omelet station, but it took forever to get one made because they only had two small griddle pans and one person making the food, so they were making them one at a time. They had green salad, but no other kinds of salad to select from. There was also no carving station that you typically have at an expensive brunch where you can get turkey and prime rib, along with there was no pasta station. We did not come for breakfast-only food. The Mother's Day mimosas were $14 extra on top of the $64/per person brunch instead of included like most Sunday Brunch restaurants offer. We had a total of four glasses of wine which normally equals one bottle. We were charged separately by the glass. For our party of 3 to have a mediocre brunch the bill total was $320.41. I usually do not complain or review restaurants, but I felt like this time BIN 189 dropped the ball on Mother's Day and needs to evaluate what they can do better. On a more positive note, the service was outstanding and our waitress was great. The day-to-day menu at BIN 189 is good and is not a reflection of the poor quality Mother's Day brunch food that we experienced, so that is why I would still recommend the restaurant to a friend.

    We spent a few days at the Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa where the restaurant is located. The staff and bartenders were friendly and warm. Service was good. Our meals were tasty; this was one of the best hamburgers I’ve had. But they had other great items like pasta and fish.

    While the food was very good the service was terrible. Let me explain. When we got to the restaurant our waitress asked us if we wanted anything to drink. We asked for a bottle of water. She said that would be $8 is that ok? We said sure. Then she brought the bottle, opened it and left it on the table. She didn’t even bother to pour it into the glasses in front of us. Then she left. We had to pour it ourselves and when we did the bottle was made of plastic so the water spilled on the table. Now there was a huge puddle of water on our table. When our waitress returned to take our order she saw the big pool of water on our table and didn’t even bother to wipe our table dry. Then she takes our order. Take one of two menus and leave the rest of the menus and wine list on the table even though we told her that we won’t be having wine. Then finally the food arrives and after giving us our food she didn’t even bother to come back and check on us even once. We had to wait so long for her to come back and check on us that my wife had to get up from the table and go look for her. The server never returned after the first time to ask us if we needed anything else. Or to offer us more water. Or to offer us dessert or coffee or anything at all. After bringing our main course to us she was just absent the entire time. Bottom line. The service was zero stars. It was terrible. We plan on never returning and telling out friends to never bother to go to this place for a meal ever.

    My friend and I came up to the resort and made the reservation at BIN189. I wasn’t expecting much but I was so surprised!! The ambiance was fantastic. From the moment that we walked into the restaurant to the time we left it was great. The cocktails were strong but good. The salmon was SOOO good. And the gluten free dessert was heavenly. Our server was busy but very attentive. 100% coming back when I’m up there again!

    We hadn’t been to Bin in about 5 years and decided to try it again but it turned out just reminding us why we haven’t been there in 5 years….The food was hit and miss and unfortunately our waitress, though she was sweet was acting distracted the entire time, no one ever came back to refill our water, and we had to ask for utensils, several times, and re-order items that we had ordered. The ambience was lacking with, stark lighting and a lot of noise and people allowing their children to run all over the place and yell and scream. So not exactly a great fine dining experience. Unfortunately…🫤

    Ambiance and restaurant was nice but the service from the front desk to the bar and table wait was slow for dinner service starting at 5 and our reservation was at 5:15. Food and drinks was ok. Over priced for its value. If the restaurant was not attached to the hotel, we would not go back.

    My partner and I stopped by for lunch on our way to big bear. The view to the lake is AMAZING! We shared the wagyu burger and it was delicious! Definitely recommend anyone visiting lake arrowhead and/ or passing by to stop and try this place.

    My family and I stayed in and that morning my daughter and I went for breakfast. I was told that I couldn't be seated because I didn't have a reservation even though there were plenty of empty tables. I then asked if I could make the reservation at that moment and I was told no. We went back to our room, I had to wake up my husband so that he can make the reservation for us. My daughter and I then went back, got seated and the waitress reminded me that if I wanted breakfast that I needed to order whatever I wanted at that moment and that I couldn't add any breakfast items later as they stop serving breakfast soon. Waitress then asked if my daughter and I were staying in the resort. I found that question a bit strange. I said yes and that my husband couldn't join us because he's tired. I then felt rushed when she brought me the check and I wasn't even half way through my meal. Other than this experience, my daughter and I enjoyed the food and ambiance.

    For a special holiday mean I really expected it to be a lot better. The soup for our entire party was warm but not hot and the same thing happened with the main dishes...barely warm. The cocktails and wine were good but a bit overpriced. Service was slow because it looked like they were understaffed - our server was very friendly but not attentive. We ordered another side dish toward the beginning of the meal and it arrived after our plates had been cleared. It just could have been so much better for a nearly $600 dinner for 4 people.

    This was our second dinner at Bin 189 and it was fabulous! The food here is great, and the ambiance is stunning. They always have unusual things on the menu and the portions are large. Thanksgiving dinner was really good and the service was great! I highly recommend.

    Dinner on Wednesday evening was good, however, breakfast hour was too short on Thursday and dinner was horrible. NO BUFFET AS OFFERED AS ADVERTISED. HARD TO GET SEATING FOR OUR FAMILY. SELECTION OF FOOD LIMITED AND NOT VERY FESTIVE. PRICE WAS UNBELIEVABLY HIGH FOR FOOD OFFERED. I NEVER EXPECTED TO PAY THAT MUCH FOR OUR DINNER SINCE THE FOOD WAS NOT THAT GOOD.
