BIN 112 on trade street Ratings and Reviews
I had made the reservations about 3 weeks in advance of the 40th birthday celebration. Service was just ok.. we had a group of 4, three of whom drank beer and alcohol.. I only drank water.. I guess in order to be waited on for water, you need to switch to beer or alcohol. It appeared our server was busy with other tables and really didn't swing by to see if everything was satisfactory with our food, etc.. It will be a long time before we decide to dine at BIN112. Which is too bad, because the food is very tasty. But if you don't have good service, what is the sense of dining out..
Bin 112 is always our go to spot for a fabulous meal together with friends or just a great dinner together. Every dish is very fresh, very hot and served by friendly staff who are always welcoming. A reservation is a must nearly every night. The Bin Stack and the Smoked Mtn Beef Tenderloin are the best entrees, but the Classic Beach Mussels are the best anywhere. Love it all.
Great place with fabulous eats!!! I’m a picky eater and I have loved everything I’ve tried including foods I don’t normally care for. I debated writing a review because this is a very small restaurant and we love it so much we don’t want it to get so crowded that we can’t get a reservation! That being said, it is well worth a visit if you enjoy friendly people and good food.
I enjoyed everything about my experience. I'm thrilled I found the restaurant, but the waitress we had seemed a little off although very nice and never said anything out of the way she almost left you with the impression that she either got offended or she did not agree with your meal choice and wanted what she had to recommend.
Attentive but not hovering waitstaff. Food, as usual was insanely delicious! Nothing on the menu is at all questionable...the difficulty is in making a decision. After Flaming Kasseri, a Bond Martini, & Maple Bacon Manhattan, Candy of the Sea it was (seared scallops to perfection). Topped it off with an Aztec Chocolate Bourbon. Must visit!
We waited several minutes for a server to come greet us for drinks. I had to flag someone down to get some water and to find our server so we could get some bar drinks. I ordered a salad and requested oil and vinegar. The server brought the salad and said there was no vinegar not even balsamic. I find this very odd that a restaurant especially one with balsamic glaze on a dish doesn't have vinegar? The cucumber salad was very bland perhaps this is related to the vinegar issue? The tuna and the filet were both good not stellar but the best part of the meal. I have been to Bin 112 several times and this is not what I expect. Not sure if it was an off night but I'm 30 min away so it was disappointing.
Susan was our server and she was really wonderful. We celebrated our 2nd anniversary and the Bin treated us. Susan even had a card for us at the end of the night. The food was delicious. I usually eat vegetarian, and my husband doesn't. We both had options to choose from. Thank you for such a wonderful evening. We will be back to celebrate again.
Wonderful food, good service ... the tableside Flaming Kasseri is a must! So far every entree has been really good, and the house-made special bourbons are great. Only word of caution ... wouldn't sit at the bar .... wasn't impressed with their bar service ... had to look up recipes on the phone.
The food was good. Our server was wonderful and very attentive. The noise level however made the meal less enjoyable. The one I ordered was not available although the substitute suggested by the bartender was adequate it was not what I had wanted. In spite of the miner problems, I would return again
We had been to the Strip Club and we were very impressed with that and this prompted us to try you for our anniversary this year.
The food was excellent. the wine and cocktails also
Plus the price was amazing...we genuinely thought it was going to be a $100 plus evening because of the quality etc..and we were pleasantly surprised that it wasn't.
Staff food and place..10 out of 10
We decided to dine at 112 for our anniversary. It was our first time but heard good things about it. What a great decision! The food was amazing. The Chef is fantastic and very detailed. We had a wonderful waitress, Susan. We highly recommend the restaurant and the waitress, Susan. Need we say more???? Go to Bin 112!
We had the mussel special and the South Pacific mussels. Both were very good and very rich. There was a lot of the broth left over and the staff volunteered to pack it up for us along with extra bread. Very nice but instead of putting it in a plastic container it was put in a cardboard box, ended up with just a soggy box, had to throw it away. Not sure who told them putting a sauce in a cardboard box was a good idea? Still we had a very nice dinner and will return.
My husband had our anniversary dinner there. It was the first time either of us had been and we were not disappointed. The restaurant was pretty busy when we got there and didn’t slow the entire night but we received our food in a pretty timely manner. Complementary bread basket with dipping oil, a great drink menu and food that you would expect for twice the amount. It was a very pleasant surprise. They even gave us a free dessert for our anniversary. We will definitely be going back!
Frequently visit this restaurant and it never disappoints. Chef always turns our consistently good preparation, interesting flavors and well prepared dishes. Service is always good -- attentive, but not overbearing. Only suggestion for improvement is the proximity of tables is a bit tight. If you need a table for two, and it's busy, you are literally on top of one another.
