Biltmore Bar & Grill
In 1914, the Biltmore opened and served up breakfast and brew at 7AM for the overnight crews from nearby factories. It came with a 4 lane basement bowling alley that was a local hangout for decades.
There was talk of a speakeasy during prohibition. The Biltmore was across the street from a regional rail stop and often hosted private events for dignitaries, politicians and celebrities. If the bar could talk, the stories would fill volumes!
Much of original brick front and interior has remained the same over the many reincarnations of this legendary bar. The original old growth wood flooring has stood up to many timeless celebrations as well. Celebrating this neighborhood legend while serving up fresh new takes on classic dishes and drinks is what The Biltmore is all about.

Bring back the real chicken and waffles. Not the wings without Belgium waffles.
No IRISH music playing on St. Patrick’s Day; too bad. Great beer selection and veggie burger. Fun atmosphere
Birthday celebration. Drinks, appetizers and entrees were fantastic, as was the service. It’s not a quiet place but that’s part of the charm. Everyone MUST try the Hog (no, not Hot) Wings!
Biltmore is a great place to enjoy great food and just have fun
Our first visit to the Biltmore Grill. It looks like someplace we would enjoy, but our son with a peanut allergy was unable to eat anything from the fryer (fries, wings, lots on the menu is fried in that fryer!) because they fry peanut butter and fluff sandwiches in the same oil as everything else. It might make more sense to fry peanut butter sandwiches in a smaller, dedicated, fryer rather than cross contaminate everything else with peanut. Sadly, we won't return.
fun place for family or to grab a pint with some friends.
food was very good, service was excellent extremely loud though it was difficult to hold a conversation
Had Steak tips over Mediterranean salad. Steak tips tender and tasty. Salad good not great. Friend ordered 1/2 chicken which was very good. Noise was deafening even in dining room furthest from bar - it was 6:30 on Friday which is probably a busy time. Could not have a normal conversation. Would go back at a quieter time.
We had a great birthday celebration with attentive service and delicious food.
Second time coming here, was probably my last. The ambiance and design of the place are nice. Went on a Monday evening and it wasn't too crowded. Pretty solid beer and cocktail list. I got steak tips, the quality of meat was pretty poor and they were cooked very inconsistently. I ordered medium rare but everything was medium/medium well. Nachos were just ok, no layer of ingredients under the top layer of chips, it was all plain chips underneath - rookie mistake. My girlfriend got a cobb salad with steak, there was hardly any green lettuce, it was almost entirely the white parts and looked like it was cut up with a chainsaw. Unfortunate, as this place has potential, but the effort on the food was just not there. Won't be returning.
Four of us went on a very busy night. Our reservation helped get us in on time with no delay. We were told service would be slower than usual due to the fact that the place was packed. Our waitress was so busy and efficient but clearly so many tables. The food came out slower than usual but acceptable and it was delicious. I recommend the nachos appetizer-Smoked pulled brisket that was delicious. All of our entrees were great. I found the fish tacos to be exceptional. Everyone was happy with their plates and we let full and satisfied.
Great place for a delicious and casual brunch. Love the down home feeling.
Good food and good vibe even though the jukebox playlist is occasionally out of bounds with overly raucous rock.
Salmon was ordered well-done. Served rare in middle. Waitress didn’t offer anything other than to take it off bill. No offer to cook more or replace with something else.
The food and service is consistently good! We go there often as a result. Our favorites, The half chicken and burgers. Excellent martini’s!
Biltmore is always a family favorite. Great burgers, beer, best 1/2 roast chicken, chill atmosphere, easy parking and love the service. Whenever there's an issue, they're 100% gracious and on top of it.
I would recommend to stay away during peak hours. Server was way over extended. Had to request utensils when meals arrived, several requests- for example a decaf coffee- took several reminders and 20+ mins to arrive, without sugar caddy.
Really wanted this place to be better, such a great neighborhood concept, lots of tradition. However, sevice was extraordinarily lacking and made for a lackluster experience. Bummer.
After I was seated, I waited about 20 min before a server came over. He made no conversation, apology, or introduced himself. My food was excellent though & would return on a less busy day. Nachos, no chips.
We celebrated my husband’s birthday here. I let them know it was his birthday when I made reservation. Our meals were really cooked well (steak dinners) and to order. We had a delicious mousse (shared) for dessert. We are seniors who live in the neighborhood. Great to have a place right nearby where we enjoy the food and are treated kindly. What more could you wish for in a neighborhood eatery? This restaurant is popular with families too.
Great atmosphere, excellent food but a bit pricey for what you get; excellent service, nice beer/wine/cocktail selection. NOISY, but lively.
This is a cute place for a drink and maybe a light sandwich/soup type bite, but not if you are looking for a nice dinner out. The service was very good and the ambiance charming, but the food was mediocre.
Great food. Great beer selection. Attended before with a large group and had a blast.
This particular occasion, we went for brunch on Sunday and the food and service were fabulous.
Will definitely be going back soon.
Had a wonderful experience, wait staff was attentive and food was yummy!
Although we had made a reservation, there was no table for us in the dining room, and we were asked if we could sit at the bar. Since we were there to chat (not conducive at the bar) our only option was a hi-top table right inside the door. Got wind blast every time people went in or out. Disappointed in our seats, but Food was good.
Sat at the bar.
Great burger and fries although quite noisy.
We go there every few months.
We’re really glad we found this place. Delicious interesting food, enjoyed the setting(old Victorian bar, complete with tin ceilings and oak wainscoting).
Jodi and Seth are the dream team bartenders. Always awesome, always on point and the food was excellent as well. We love it here.
Took a long time for the food to arrive at lunch time, but the staff were all very apologetic and explained that they were short staffed and had a party of 30 along with another holiday party coming in that same day as well. My burger was ordered well done, but was red all inside:/ I didn’t send it back only because of how long it took to get it in the first place. Hoping it was just a challenging day for the staff and that this sort of stuff wouldn’t happen again, so I’d definitely give it another try!:)
Parking is a bit tight, but worth it, as the food was good and very reasonably priced. The service was a bit slow, though, because they had some large parties there that kept the servers busy. Still, I'll definitely go back.
I loved the Biltmore’s veggie burger but now they’ve replaced it with a falafel burger which I thought was awful! I was extremely disappointed and won’t be going back.
Our go to place in the neighborhood or after a movie. We choose dishes we love, always prepared as we’ve requested, served in a timely way, servers listen well and sincerely want to please. We really like this place and recommend to friends, family, neighbors.
(Sunday evening) Football game was on very loud volume in all rooms - almost impossible to socialize
Brisket flatbread was very good
Great place really good food but odd sized drafts
The food was delicious. Service was very attentive - maybe a little too attentive-but the noise level made it difficult to have a conversation.
Very limited menu for full dinners
Steak tips mediocre
My comments about quiet conversation are certainly limited to brunch/quiet times. Great bar, but noisy at night.
Vibe was great - food was mediocre!
Our server and the host were both extremely attentive and did all possible to make our dining out experience pleasant and delicious. We are a group of four where two of us have specific needs. The Biltmore always provides good food and a welcoming comfortable atmosphere. Why we rerun often!
The salmon was excellent as were the burgers. Our server was very friendly and attentive. Bonus was we were there for trivia night. All around, this place is a great place with great food!
