   I had a fantastic Mother's day lunch with my boys. The food was delicious, and I appreciated free desert as part of Bill's mothers day appreciation. I liked to seat on high tables but I wish there was a foot rest for bench seating. The individual chairs have foot rest but the bench doesn't, although seat itself was very comfy. Perhaps a foot rest on the table's pole could be useful for people like me. Other than that it was a great lunch. Booking through OpenTable is super easy and practical.

   The food was outstanding. A real shame that we booked for bottomless brunch but the service was so slow we only received 3 glasses of prosseco. The deal was not particularly clear on the price of what was actually bottomless. Overall a lovely experience but could have been better.

   One particular staff member serving us was very short and impatient with us, I appreciate it was a large table; however, the attitude had already started when only 6 people were sat down. He was continually rude all night. At one point, while stood at his desk, he pointed to our table with another staff member (a young lady with blonde hair in a bun) and proceeded to laugh at two members of the table and make jokes about them. Unfortunately, this made two of our guests very comfortable for the rest of the meal. When leaving I decide to speak to someone about our experience, I was then questioned whether this happened. In exact words “are you sure?”. I believe when complaining we should of been heard and not questioned regarding this. Unfortunately this restaurant has now lost 15 customers.

   We all went to Bills to celebrate my birthday. My family were all praising the food. I became unwell during the meal [nothing to do with the food which was delicious] and the staff could not have been kinder to me. I would definitely return when I am back in Cambridge

    Bogof made this a reasonably priced meal. I hate the 12.5% “discretionary” service charge though. Would far rather tip. If it really is optional it should be separately itemised under the total without it.

    My husband booked a table with a note that it was my birthday and asked for a nice touch (ie a candle in my dessert or attentive servers who would top my drink up quicker than normal), the staff had not see the note and upon our arrival they made an awful attempt at wishing me happy birthday as they read the notes, as if I were a child, it was mortifying. I think my husband hoped that the note would promt the staff to just be a little more attentive to our needs and make the evening pleasant and enjoyable. We were immediately put off by the stream of 3 servers rushing up to me (in the span on 5 minutes) and wishing me a happy birthday in the most childish manner. They handed my son a menu, side facing him was the rabbit pancake. He excitedly told the server that we wanted that and we were told that because it was 17:10, we couldn't order the pancakes. Pressed on trying to decide what to eat all the while the bunny pabcakes is all my son could think of. We kindly asked the server if she'd ask the chef if we could quickly place an order as it was only 10 minutes passed 5, she bluntly said no because the batter is in the freezer?! Nevermind we'd find something else he fancied right? But the vibe was off and I was starting to feel uncomfortable with the way the servers were hovering over the table. We decided to leave because it became clear we were not going to be able to relax in the environment that was starting to feel tense. We asked for the bill to pay for our drinks and then suddenly the server said they could make the pancakes after all. Which just sent me over the edge and I couldn't wait to get out of there. We left and went to Honest and had instant relief with a warm and welcoming environment.

    Dinner with student son. Excellent value set menus. Pretty quiet on a Monday night so we could choose our table (although we were initially offered a small one which seemed odd given the emptiness).

    Great food and a great night. I accept that it was a busy New Years night but we had our starters before our drinks and they forgot the starter and main meal of a member of our table. They did however reimburse us for some drinks for this. Overall though, would go again and would recommend

    All the food was delicious and the restaurant had a lovely atmosphere, the prices of everything was very expensive but the food was to a high standard. My only issue was when asking for colder drinks because the first ones wasn’t very chilled (at £7 a drink) I did get a funny look from one of the waiting staff, all the other staff was extremely very sweet and lovely.

    I went for the Christmas set dinner, starter was delicious, unfortunately the turkey and roast potatoes were rock hard. They did offer to re do the dish but we didn’t have the time as we had paid for a booked parking slot.

    2nd time I have been there. 1st time was for breakfast. Outstanding in all categories. 2nd time yesterday afternoon about 4pm. Was horrible. Lights too bright. Bad at service from different waitresses. Not attentive enough. But above all. The menu was terrible and the food was awful! My dried up halloumi plate, was not fit for any body or animal. My dog wouldnt even eat it!! And she loves halloumi. Burger was small and blah.... Skinny fries were really good tho.. The price was staggering. And I was entertaining family from nyc they know good food. !! Ugh. Embarrassing.

    We took the grandchildren to the pantomime and made a day of it having lunch beforehand. The children were 7 and 4x2 (twins) and while they had “enough” to eat, I suspect that some children might still be hungry.

    Always a lovely experience and good food. However on this occasion 2 of the diners had the pancake stack and were disappointed. They were dry and needed more butter and syrup. Generous portion of pancakes but unable to eat them as they were too dry.

    Our evening at Bill’s was great! Service was very professional and Zara who was taking care on our Group, was so positive and helpfull! We had an amazing dinner, delicious desserts and absolutely a lot of the fun! Thanks to All involved in our booking!

    I was hoping for a better experience for the prices they have, honestly. Service was fairly fast and waiters polite but the food was disappointing. The dirty vegan burger was ok, but the chips arrived cold. One of my party's halloumi dish was completely overcooked, and the snowball dessert was very underwhelming. Sorry but I probably won't come back for food.

    Lovely Saturday lunch in Cambridge enjoyed by the whole family. Glad we booked as after us, diners were being turned away. Children’s meal very good value. Chicken shawarma highly recommended!

    I have been to a Bill’s restaurant on several occasions . My sister wanted to take me out for my birthday , I suggested that we try the Cambridge one , as she had never been before . We had the same meal , as of which we both really enjoyed .

    Denis was absolutely amazing kind and sleek Su checking that we were ok. We had breakfast but having a 5 stacker the fruit was sparse and we had to ask for extra maple syrup as the syrup had soaked into the top pancake so the team aiming pancakes were dry. So please add extra fruit and syrup for the pancakes .

    Nice food, which came quite quickly, but the service was poor. Had to ask for condiments twice. Offered dessert menu, then forgotten. Served desserts without cutlery, then forgotten. £8.50 for a medium glass of wine. Not a cheap family dinner.
