Great casual place to hang with friends. Wine tasting was fun and the food was delicious.
Fun date night and a nice change from our usual locations. Wine was tasty, cool vibe, we will go back. The food was good, but it’s really bar food rather than fine dining.
Did the wine tasting as a Mother’s Day event with moms from out of town. It was AMAZING
It wasn’t the “wine tasting experience” I expected. It was five small glasses of wine served at the same time with a paper placement describing a bit about the wines. No information provided by staff at the establishment. We made reservations at 2pm on a Friday for 4 people and noted in the reservation that it was a graduation celebration. We were seated at a table that barely fit our wine and basically didn’t fit the charcuterie board or any other appetizers we ordered later.
Birthday wonderful place to celebrate
We did wine tasting and brunch. Wonderful time and good food.
Great time, cool atmosphere, wine was decent! Food was extremely small portions for what your paying, and not the best quality. Fun for our large group gathering though!
The vibe at Bigsby's is very cool, and the service is excellent!... my to go place for a nice time!
My wife’s first trip out after dose two. Wonderful evening!
Great wines and tasty apps to accompany the drinks. Fantastic atmosphere to enjoy the wine and conversation with your group. Love the toys for the four-legged fury friends too.
We went here for my birthday and sat out on the patio. It was so cute and the staff was really friendly. We order a bunch of food and all of it was excellent. We will be back again! Oh, they also allow dogs which is awesome!
The food was pretty good, the wines were good for Denver, but over priced. The portions were also very small and the bar stools for the high top tables aren’t comfortable unless you’re very tall. For the price I expected to leave not still being hungry.
Asked to be at a low table due to children and elderly people with us. Got a high top with no backs on the chairs and barrels where your legs are supposed to go. Went for denver restaurant week. Non alcoholic drinks were expensive and now there is a fee to pay servers the minimum wage that gets added to your bill without you knowing until it shows up at the end of the meal. The sea bass, chicken and tiramisu were very good but the rest was not great. The prosciutto app was a single piece of a stale baguette cut in half and was tasteless. The staff were very nice though and did a good job. Probably a good place just to drink.
Very good food. Excellent service! Wine pairing worked perfectly
Fun place! Great food & service!
Went for a birthday and during restaurant week. The food was delicious, loved the Watercress salad. The service at our table was good, but by the time we got our second and third course they’d run out of things we’d ordered. Not the server’s fault, but it was disappointing. Vibe was good!
extremely unorganized, service was bad, wouldn't recommend, won't return
The service was wonderful. Lacee did a wonderful job with her recommendations and helping us as first time visitors. The food was everything I was told it would be! Such a wonderful experience and will absolutely be back! Highly impressed and could not be happier we chose to try Bigsbys after watching them on Instagram for many months.
We sat on the patio and had a great evening. The were definitely not the most organized for restaurant week, for the time gaps in between courses was long. Our waitress, Meredith, was awesome! She kept us informed and took great care of us. We still had a great evening despite the spaced out courses.
Celebrated my birthday at Bigsbys with close friends and had the BEST time! Wine, food, atmosphere, and service are exceptional! I’m not sure what our servers name was, but she was incredible! Highly recommend this cute place!
Server was great. We ordered Sea Bass which I have never found to be “fishy” tasting but a number of folks in our party who had it complained about it. I guess we should have asked what the source of the fish was before ordering it as there are multiple types of sea bass.
Went during Denver Restaurant Week 2021- the wine flight was amazing and the charcuterie snacks were delicious, just didn’t seem like quite enough of a snack for all 3 of us!
As always, the wine was delicious, we ordered glasses of the EPP and the Pinot Noir Willamette Reserve. We decided to try the Restaurant Week Menu and were underwhelmed. Our favorite part was dessert. We ordered the cookies and cheesecake. There was only one server for the entire back half of the restaurant so service was less than average. I think we will stick to drinks on the patio in the future.
Bigsby's wins big on ambience, great service, and great wine - we had a fantastic evening. The food came out within minutes however, and never felt completely fresh, which leads us to believe it had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while. It was still pretty tasty, but you're coming here for the wine and music. Our server was fantastic - prompt and attentive. We'll be coming back for drinks and maaaybe a charcuterie board in the future.
Some friends and I tried the wine tasting and charcuterie board. It was a fun way to spend the afternoon!
We had one great server and one who kind of spoiled the mood for us. Considering the price of food and drinks you would think there would be quality service all around. I don’t think I will be going back to dine in any time soon. Great wine though!
Went to Bigsby's Follys on Saturday for restaurant week. It was crowded but socially distanced. The servers were nice and attentive, but slow. I could not tell if they were trying to be polite and not rush us or if they forgot about us. The food was not great, you would expect better for restaurant week. It is a good place to go if you want a drink, but I would eat somewhere else.
Went here for Denver Restaurant Week. The items I ate were delicious. Also did the wine pairing. All the wines were good. Can't wait to come back.
Excellent food and fun vibe. Staff was friendly and thoughtful and really made our night! We'll be back...SOON!
The food was reasonable. We had to wait close to an hour for our main course to come out since the kitchen was a little backed up. The service was alright but a little slow and we had to ask for everything multiple times like water, drinks, and silverware. Nothing to rave about. Food was tasty but would wait the amount of time we did for it.
eclectic, fun,Love mix of wood and bling! food excellent
Food and drinks (wine and cocktails) were great. Ambience was louder, but a welcome change from the pandemic. Our server was good, but the food was really slow ( not complaining that we were there longer, just hungry) it was restaurant week, so likely busier than usual. Overall, still a great place and will go back, just maybe not during rush time.
Restaurant Week menu was fantastic! Service was great! Loved it
Came here with a group, they were ready for us with our reservation for 8 on a busy Saturday afternoon. The staff was attentive without being overbearing, made great suggestions on food and wine, overall a pleasant experience.
Update: Received a call back from the Service Director and issues have been solved.
We will be going back to try a dinner wine night.
Cons: The service was questionable. We ordered avocado toast, which we never received. The toast was on our bill but we had it removed. The service was pretty slow. We ordered two wine flights and it took 15 min for them to arrive. We had to ask for our check because the waitress never came back.
Pros: The vibe and venue is great. Has a real cozy feel. The food was great! We got the breakfast nachos, and bacon galore. The bacon was made nice and crispy. The staff was very friendly.
We already knew their wine was top-notch, but were pleasantly surprised and impressed by the food, and it is rare that I'm every impressed by most restaurant offerings. So incredibly delicious! Inventive, creative, cooked to perfection and beautifully presented. The wine pairings were perfect. Service was great. Attentive and everything was perfectly timed. The only complaint would be the noise-level. We were there on a Friday night and happy to say the place was quite full (we still felt very safe with spacing of tables and the ability to be socially-distanced from other diners), but the acoustics of the place are challenging. Very hard to hear one another across the table. Other than that, I give this place a 5-star rating. Can't wait to return!
Food and wine were good but the wine is extremely overpriced. They charge $18 for a 9oz glass of wine. The menu is deceiving because they put the extra charge disclaimer on the side of the menu instead of right next to each of the wine selections. Server was not attentive. Waited to get our first order in, then the second, and had to ask someone to get our check. Aside from the negative, the ambiance is nice, and once we got the orders in they were quick to bring them to us.
The restaurant week menu was very good. The wines that were paired with the food were average to good. The server was absolutely excellent!
Enjoyed the experience-cool building. Enjoyed the tasting but didn’t really love any wines to get one to go. The tasting with the small charcuterie board was very enjoyable.
