   Food was very good but very slow. After 2 hours hadn't been served mains. Had some dietary requirements which were very well catered for by the kitchen but not well communicated by front of house staff that culminated in a semi argument which was unnecessary as the food was put on the table less than 5 mins later. 2 hours (10.50pm) into the seating we had an unfortunate interaction with who I suspect was front of house manager (bald guy, glasses, white shirt, earpiece). He got very passive aggressive and generally horrible when asked if any coeliac specific food that wasn't vegetables was going to be served - if they weren't then our very hungry pregnant coeliac friend was going to have to go elsewhere to eat. We had communicated dietary requirements days before coming and been told that they would be ok. Unfortunately this really negatively affected the evening which was a shame because they were catered for and the food that was served shortly (<5 mins) afterwards was lovely. I think he just didn't know but instead of finding out was confrontational.

   Always a great time. Lovely staff ☺️ the pappardelle & the prawns are a must try. actually everything is delicious The music can be loud on the weekends so if you are looking for a quaint quiet place this is probably not for you

   Great service and amazing food! Perfect for a date night and for my boyfriend who doesn’t get full easily - every menu was amazing

   Iv been to big poppas plenty of times but very disappointed this time, manager was rude, chicken was raw tho they took it off bill. We booked for downstairs and emailed and confirmed on arrival they placed us upstairs. Manager was so blunt and rude it felt like a take away store, felt like they wanted us in and out.

   Recently dined here for a surprise birthday party. Staff were absolutely exceptional in their service. They were so accommodating to any requests we had. Everyone was so friendly! The food was amazing as per usual. We chose the $90 set menu. There was heaps of food. Every dish was so good! Thank you to the staff, you helped make the night a huge success and the birthday girl was so happy! Really appreciate the level of service, we couldn't have asked for a better evening!

   Superb service for a big group (20). Awesome food and drink, and they kept us topped up at all times. One of the group remarked "it was like bottomless brunch but we paid for every drink". 10/10

   Loved it! But it was wayyyyyyy too loud. I couldn’t hear or talk to my mates across the table.

   Food was good, but the table was incredibly small for 4 people, and not big enough for the food and drinks. Had we known we would be sitting in the bar, we would not have come to the restaurant. The service was slow and erratic.

    Food took over 2 hours to come out. Service was minimal. They seemed to be short staffed.
