We had a wonderful dinner early on a week night. It was very quiet and we were the only ones inside for most of the time. The service were very hospitable. The food was absolutely amazing! We enjoyed all of it. The only downside was it took a while to take our order, drinks took a while and also the food. We were also with small children so probably not ideal for kids if they are hungry, it was about 40 mins from the time we sat for the food to come out. Beautiful place though and the food was very high quality. Would definitely go again.

Highly recommend this gem of a restaurant! The food is incredible and the staff are super friendly and knowledgeable. We shared a bunch of tapas between the two of us. I would recommend the guacamole, corn, chorizo baguette and empanadas. You will not be disappointed. The portion sizes are super generous and the price is very reasonable. We will be back to try everything else on the menu!

Great food and service. The tapas were especially delicious and came in generous-sized servings. We were up from Sydney visiting a friend who has retired to Tweed Heads. Our friend said he will definitely be back.

Hands down one of the best restaurants I’ve been to the food was amazing! Lovely staff and amazing cocktails for my mum and wife on our arrival for Mother’s Day tonight. Thanks and can’t wait to be back 🙌

What a beautiful experience we had for mothers Day lunch at Big Papi Cocina today The little dining area out the back was amazing the Design, the food , the service was amazing what a way to celebrate Mother’s Day! Even got a free glass of champagne. it’s great to have this resturant in Coolangatta it’s much needed and great to have different food options around from different cultures! We will be back for sure Thankyou x 💗

Unfortunately, we were quite disappointed with our experience. While the location and ambience were really nice and inviting, the food let us down. It arrived barely warm and was very average in terms of taste and quality. We had higher expectations and hoped for a better dining experience. Hopefully, this can be improved in the future.
