It took them a long time to come to our table and greet us (20 minutes to be exact) in which we had to go let the hostess know. Once the server came everything was fine and the food was delicious. I would visit again.

We sat on the porch. A couple seated after us were vaping and their smoke was blowing in our faces. We informed the hostess and our waitress. All the porch staff saw these people vaping including the server who had a giant puff blown right in her face as she delivered food to their table. Our waitress asked the manager to intervene but other than watching from the hostess stand for a few moments, he did nothing. We were super disappointed to have our meal ruined by the smoke.

Our server was extremely inattentive. They have no children's menu and so the only options for my twin 9 year olds was French toast. It cost more than $17 for them to each have 2 slices of French toast. Yep, nothing on it, nothing with it and $17 each. I will not be going back to this establishment. That is sad to say because the food otherwise tasted great.

Waitress was curt and would just fly by. We asked for something that was supposed to come with a dish and didn’t - she never brought it to the table. We also wanted a substitute to cows milk for an iced coffee which most restaurants have these days but they didn’t .

Service was excellent. Food other than a nice pretzel was bad. Crispy pork belly was a cut piece and only crispy in one side, skirt steak only seasoning was excessive pepper, and all that was fried (calamari, fries and chicken Milanese) was clearly made with overused bunt oil. Not returning, though I have to say service was outstanding.

Our server gave us her name, I believe it was Christy, she was fantastic, attentive, friendly and provided us with great service! The only complaint and it was not our servers fault because she doesn’t taste the food prior to it being released, the steak and eggs were not great. The steak was bland and the eggs were overcooked. Christy returned the eggs and they came back almost immediately. Besides that drinks were delicious and the rest of our order was top notch! Thank you 😊

If you haven’t been to Big City then you haven’t experienced the best food in Fort Lauderdale. I discovered this gem in 2001 and there is a reason that it has stood the test of time while other restaurants in the area have faltered and failed. The service and food is top notch! One of my favorite items on the menu is the pad Thai, which I was suspect to order at first, but it was recommended and fantastic!!! The pizza and salads are outstanding and the burger and fried chicken sandwich are excellent. All in all you will not be disappointed. Book early and request a table on the patio. The people watching and cars you will see are entertainment in itself.
