Big B's Fish Joint
The food was delicious and the service was spectacular!
The food and service were both excellent. Will definitely be back.
Great place for casual but tasty seafood. Have visited several times and found dishes to be cooked and seasoned perfectly on each visit.
Service and food were amazing! Highly recommend if you’re in the area...hidden gem in an upscale strip center!
From the moment we walked in and were greeted with smiles. There was no waiting even though we had reservations. Our server was very attentive management came over to see if everything is fine. The food was excellent and great portions.I will definitely be going back. Love the place.
Food was great, service a bit casual, but not aggravating..the owners have @ restaurant background, so am surprised that service is an issue..I SO want this spot to stay, it’s so hard to find a small neighborhood place that has gréât food!..fish is fresh, and prepared correctly, and pricing compared to Fish Market, or Kama, is very competitive...
Food well presented and prepared well Our second visit in one week. Enjoyed both experiences.
The broccoli salad and cole slaw were good but the fish was mediocre. The serviced had much to be desired. We ordered an appetizer while waiting for our fourth guest to arrive. As soon as she arrived the waiter came to take our order. Both tuna dishes were ordered rare but one was put down as medium. Turns out that it was rare enough to be eaten. Plates were cleared while guests were still eating. The waiter returned after we ordered a dessert saying they just ran out of that pie ten minutes ago. I wouldn't return.
The food was only mediocre. Very disappointing. Staff was very attentive.
Great vibe. Unpretentious
First time visiting Bib bs on Saturday night and it was wonderful. Wait staff were very pleasant and our food was delicious. Love the Cajun French fries too.
Great meal. Saw this place on ATLANTA Eats. I will be back!
wonderful. casual. great fish.
We had a very pleasant experience at this restaurant. The food was great; the staff was helpful and friendly. The lobster rolls were a winner. We WILL go back.
Great family place in Sandy Springs !
Great new gem in the neighborhood! The smoked trout appetizer and the lobster roll were both excellent. The service was great as well.
Quick and delicious seafood! The trout was wonderful. We will be going back.
Everyone us different but one person needed more spice. At most restaurants fish portions seem smaller than steak. Their portions were ok. Another thought sides could be little larger. The staff was personable, attentive and helpful. Noise level was low and good for a restaurant. Will definitely go back.
So delicious and a wonderful atmosphere!!
We will be back!
Service was extremely slow. Food was ok.
Everything was amazingly delicious. The service was impeccable.
Good food priced right, nicely designed interior, highly recommend. fFresh seafood right at the counter when you enter.
- Modest portions, but correspondingly modest prices
- Minimal options if you aren't a seafood person
- A few unusual ingredient choices should be reconsidered (e.g. capers in the house salad, sage in the coleslaw)
This place gets one star for the fish being fresh.
It took 10 minutes just to get water. It took 20 minutes to take our order and we had to flag a waiter down. He wasn't thrilled. And he was the manager! No apology, nothing.
Then, our actual waiter said that they were slammed with big parties before we reservation, about ten minutes after we placed our order. This was the first time he spoke to us. Understandable, but inexcusable, as you should inform your guests beforehand. Furthermore, they had plenty of open tables so the lack of attention doesn't add up.
Our fish was fresh, but not seasoned. The noodles in the Mac and cheese were soggy and overcooked; the tomato and cucumber feta salad had too much vinegar. The greens were fine. The portions are not comparable to the prices, especially when you compare their menu to other seafood spots such as Lure and Atlanta Fish Market.
I'm from Florida and I was raised by someone that had owned and managed restaurants.
This ain't it, y'all. Save your money. Another reviewer mentioned the service time as well from over a month ago, and it looks like there's no improvement.
The fresh fish at Big B's is excellent. We has salmon, and cod - both were cooked perfectly. The calamari is also quite tasty. The side salad is really good - the capers add a nice touch, The value for the portions is excellent. Nice to have a good seafood restaurant in the neighborhood.
Great seafood, at very reasonable prices. This new restaurant is now hitting it's stride,we've been 3 times.
Finally a great seafood restaurant in Buckhead / Sandy Springs area at fair and reasonable prices. The food ( we had oysters, salmon, halibut and catfish ) was excellent in every instance. The service was SENSATIONAL! This will be a regular spot for our family.
nice neigborhood spot, serving variety of fresh fish prepared in a variety of ways. Really trying to please the clientele with friendly service. Pleasant in every way.
Richard was great! nice atmosphere and seafood selection
Fish is fresh and prepared well. I have been there a couple times. First time the service was super slow but the most recent time is was much better. I feel like it will continue to get better as this new restaurant irons out the wrinkles of start up. The sandwiches are good but very dry. I would recommend some sauces of some sort to kick it up a notch. Last visit I had fish tacos (cod) and they were delish. I would love to see that item on the menu! I would also like to see the lighting turned up a bit. Ambiance is nice but a bit dark. Bottom line, good food, great local go to spot.
Food was very good and priced right. Will be happy to return.
